2 double bedrooms (ideal for couples but can sleep a third guest as there are 2 bedrooms) - please note that our prices assume that only the main bedroom is used for 2 people. If both bedrooms are required for occupancy in the apartment of either 2 or 3 people the additional person charge of £45 per night applies. Please enquire if the second bedroom is required as otherwise it is locked.

About Andrew and Jane Austin

Jane and Andrew purchased the apartment in 2007 when Jane was working as a Partner in a Law Firm located at St. Katharine Dock / Tower of London. Although continuing as a lawyer part-time, Jane and Andrew now devote much of their week running their luxury holiday cottages on the North Downs in the beautiful Kent Countryside. We love country living but also adore London - so the apartment gives us the best of both worlds. We have 3 great children - all now at University - as well as dogs and horses so keep pretty busy.

We fell in love with the location and views! Set well away from any traffic or noise, it is still conveniently located for the Dock - with its many bars and restaurants, Tower of London (a World Heritage Site) and of course the River Thames. Tower Hill provides easy and quick transport links to the West End by bus or tube as well as easy access to Docklands via the DLR (Docklands Light Railway).

Beautiful Apartment

Three of us stayed in the apartment for a week. The view is exactly like the picture. Beautiful! There were swans on the canal and ducks too. They were not noisy and seemed to be experienced city birds!!! It is in a quaint residential area on the canals close to St Katherine's docks. The apartment is very clean, well stocked with supplies, with an updated kitchen and a great shower! It is located on the second floor, there is no elevator - you walk up one flight. The Wifi was excellent too. It is about a five minute walk to the grocery store and a 15 minute walk to Tower Hill Tube Station through St. Katherine's Docks. We ate breakfast in the apartment, then headed out for shopping and theater at night. The walk back is well lit and we felt very safe - we were back usually after midnight. The owners were very responsive and thoroughly explained the details of the apartment - there is also a binder with information. They met us to let us in. We didn't need them at all during the week as we didn't have any problems or concerns. This is not an apartment for anyone looking to party - even the restaurants in St Katherine's close down around 10PM. I would highly recommend it!

A great apartment in an excellent location!

Owners could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Apartment was immaculately clean and well maintained. Peaceful, car-free location but with easy access to Central London - just a 10 minute walk to The Tower of London, Tower Bridge, the bars and restaurants of St. Katharine Docks and Tower Hill Tube.
