Surrounded by gardens, adult and children's pool close by, the Alto Mar Apartments, in the San Jaime development, overlook the beautiful sandy beach of Son Bou. Situated about 5km south of the old town of Alaior and about 20 minutes from Mahon airport, apartment H5 occupies a prime end-position with views over Son Bou bay at the front and farmland at the rear. The complex is laid out within beautiful, well kept gardens and has both adult's and children's pools exclusive to residents. Apartment H5 has a large, south facing terrace and is well furnished and equipped. The shops, restaurants, bars and San Jaime Club are 10 minutes walk down the hill, and the 2km white sand, and turquoise sea of Son Bou beach are a further 5 minutes walk. San Valentin Hotel and its Spar shop with bakery are close by. A hire car is advisable.

Mahon airport is 20 minutes drive.
Car hire is strongly recommended. We can arrange this for you or you can pre-book when arranging your flights.
Alaior - nearest town 5km (10 minutes drive).
Shops, bars and restaurants in Son Bou are 10 minutes walk downhill.
Son Bou has a wonderful 2km of beach with gently sloping sand, perfect for children and adults. It is possible to walk along to neighbouring Santo Tomas (45 minutes). The wetlands behind the dunes are protected, and are a haven for wildlife. In spring and autumn migrating birds rest there, and wild flowers abound all over the island. In Son Bou, there are plenty of bars/restaurants, boutiques, and souvenir shops, as well as supermarkets and bakeries. San Jaime Club has a water-slide, and there are tennis courts available for hire at the Son Bou Gardens and at the San Valentin Hotel. We strongly recommend hiring a car to explore this fascinating and historical island. Mahon and Ciutadela are well worth a visit for their harbours and their interesting architecture, and there are many beautiful beaches - large, small, rocky, sandy, busy, quiet, remote - within reach, as well as more excellent restaurants.

Deposit of 20% is required to secure the booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before commencement of the rental. For bookings within 8 weeks of departure the full amount is payable. Clients are recommended to take out cancellation insurance. If we are able to re-let the apartment then we will refund all monies paid less a £20 handling charge.
Any day during April, May, October and November. Friday preferred, but possibly Monday during June, July, August and September.
Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Preferred changeover day Friday. We are willing to consider discounts for more than two weeks. Call for discounts on late bookings.

- Notes on accommodation: Sorry, no pets. Outside: There are some steps up to and inside the apartment, and around the gardens to the pool. The large, south facing terrace is equipped with sunbeds and outdoor dining table and chairs and large sunshade and barbecue. Surrounding the apartments are well maintained gardens with trees, colourful shrubs and flowers. Adult's and children's pools are close to the apartment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen, towels (not swimming towels) and tea towels provided and changed weekly.
