A romantic apartment for 2 decorated in the authentic Nice Old Town style. Highly recommended. Wonderful all-year around. Perfect for a couple or for 2 singles as there is a sofa-bed in the living room, thus creating 2 separate sleeping rooms at night, if preferred. Sunny and with a small south-facing balcony , on the 2nd floor of a well-maintained and well-managed apartment building overlooking a quiet street ( Rue St Claire) within the very heart of the Old Town (Vieux Nice), the most colourful, characterful and vibrant part of Nice. You are within 250m of the beaches and the famous Promenade des Anglais, the lively Place Rossetti and the magnificent Cathedrale Sainte-Reparate, the beautiful Place Massena with its impressive fountains, the 18th Century Place Garibaldi, the Opera House, concert halls and art galleries, the Chateau Hill, the Marina (Port), the Flower Market, hundreds of appealing restaurants, brasseries, cafes and bars, and every type of shopping you could possible wish for.

Fabulous Apartment in the heart of Old Town!

This fabulous one bedroom apartment was perfect for our stay in Nice. It is right in the heart of Old Town with steps to great restaurants and a very short walk to the beach.

The apartment was absolutely spotless and well maintained. It was also spacious and with a bonus balcony to enjoy our morning coffee and croissant! Although right in the heart of Old Town, we found the apartment quiet - even with the windows open.

The owners, Tony & Suzanne, were excellent. Everything went very smoothly with our rental and the owners were very responsive. Claire, the local contact and caretaker was awesome. She met us in Old Town and set us up in our apartment and ensured everything was to our liking.

We will definitely stay in this apartment next time we are in Nice, except that we will stay much longer!

Lovely Apartment in the Old Town

We really enjoyed our stay at Tony's apartment in the Old Town of Nice. It was very cosy and had all that we would need for a comfortable stay. I particularly liked the location, in the heart of the Old Town, surrounded by excellent restaurants and minutes walk to the beach, sites and transport links.

Tony was extremely helpful, from initial enquiries, to making the booking, to responding to any queries while we were in Nice. I particularly appreciated having the keys in hand, as it gave us the freedom to go to the apartment when we wanted.

I would certainly recommend Tony's apartment to anyone visiting Nice.

Owner's Response: I have been established in Nice since 1999, and I have 8 apartments from which to choose - each one different. All of them are in central and convenient locations in Nice. In my office I have files full of kind e-mails, thank-you letters, charming notes and cards, and appreciative comments. Being a bit 'old school' I've never got around to asking my visitors to post on-line reviews. It is immensely satisfying to receive an 5 star review on-line. For me, too, it was a pleasure doing business with these lovely visitors to my Rue Guigonis apartment.

There are marble-tiled floors throughout. The apartment has central heating should you ever need it!To keep the apartment cool on very hot days all of the windows and doors have the traditional external wooden shutters of the region. Small south-facing balcony. Sorry no pets allowed. Bed linen and towels supplied. End-of-stay cleaning and end-of-stay laundry charges included. Other: French windows open onto a small balcony giving you a charming view up and down this quiet street.
