Villa in Cala Llonga, Menorca

A very high standard villa with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms together with far reaching south facing views of the Mahon harbour. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with a private pool and built-in barbecue. 10 minutes to the shops, bars, restaurants of Mahon, with the sandy beach of Cala Mesquida a short drive away. This house is available for rent for a limited period during the year and is furnished and equipped as a 2nd home to a very high standard with full air con and wi fi. The house is idea for three generation families with the master suite on the upper floor the perfect place to escape the hurley burley downstairs. However, the house is not suitable for very small children.

Cala Llonga is an upmarket mainly residential area comprising of some of the islands stunning villas. Situated on the famous Mahon Harbour it is one of the more beautiful areas on the island. Served by a good seasonal supermarket which is within walking distance of the villa together with a bar/restaurant it is quite possible to be self sufficient. However, Mahon the island's capital is only a 10 drive away. Here you will find a fantastic choice of bars and restaurants together with excellent supermarkets and local fresh produce.

It is also possible to catch the water taxi that runs regularly between Cala Llonga and Mahon and Cala Fons a famous fishing port lined with may great restaurants, a marvelous way to out to dinner in the evening.

Coast/Beach:

Menorca has 120 beaches which cater for everyone, but the nearest to the house is about 5 minutes drive to Cala Mesquida a perfect horse shoe shaped bay with good car parking and if the wind is in the right direction great surf.

Travel:

Mahon airport is only about 10 minutes drive. But we a completely away from the flight path. The ferry terminal is about 5 minutes away. A car is essential - we can arrange car hire for you.

Distances:

Mahon is 10 minutes in the car and the local shop and bar is approx 10 minutes walk.

  • Notes on accommodation: Upstairs is the air-conditioned master suite with 6' double bed, wooden floors, sofa and easy chairs, TV, IPOD dock, plus fridge and refreshment centre. Separate dressing/office area and large walk-in shower room with wc and washbasin. Sorry, no pets. Outside: Very private terrace and pool area with sunbeds. An outside shaded dining area with bench seating and table for 6. Built-in barbecue and outside fridge and shower. Upper terrace area with table and chairs and a 180 degree view of the harbour and out to sea. Utility Room: Washing machine and tumble drier Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Beds are changed once per week, all linen provided with the exception of beach towels. Maid service is available on request. Other: Sunroom with wonderful harbour views.
