Casa Paradiso is set on the exclusive Las Coloradas Estate in Playa Blanca. Playa Blanca is a fishing village, with its white washed walls and houses providing a sparkling backdrop to the sand and clear blue sea. It is in a prime location and boasts attractive waterfront bars, restaurants and shops, all good value. Playa Blanca village is a 20 min walk away from Las Coloradas round a beautiful coastal path with breathtaking views of Fuertaventura. For those wishing to visit this sister island, it can be reached by ferry from the port in Playa Blanca and takes around 35 mins. Las Coloradas itself has a shopping centre and a supermarket just a 5 min walk away near the Hotel Iberostar Papagayo. The new Marina Rubicon is a short walk along the coastal path and boasts lots of exclusive restaurants and bars such as 'Cafe Del Mar' which looks out over the Marina. There is also a craft market on a Wednesday and Saturday.
Thanks for a great holiday, we really enjoyed staying at Casa Paradiso. The villa was the best that we have ever rented in Lanzarote it was so well equipped and maintained. Alison & Andrew.
This is our second time staying here and it really was like re-visiting our home, away :-) Have absolutely everything we need, especially with the new TV system and wifi! And we love the fresh look and new homely touches around the villa. Many thanks again Kate.
Just returned from a lovely holiday in Playa Blanca, staying at Casa Paradiso. We have previously visited twice with our two teenage daughters and on this occasion we were just a couple; but it still works for us! The villa is clean, comfortable and peaceful. We spent many happy hours dining al fresco, sunbathing and using the pool. The villa offers you everything that you could want for a wonderful week's holiday.
We have regular holidays in villas in the quiet Las Coloradas area and as we were staying for three weeks this time we chose to return to Casa Paradiso because we knew that it would be perfect for us. The owner is professional, helpful & very accommodating - a pleasure to deal with.
The villa is cleaned to a very high standard & is well looked after by the local managers. It's surprisingly spacious both inside & out - the photos don't really do it justice. There's plenty of wardrobe space & drawers in the bedrooms & the units in the lounge contain all sorts of useful bits & bobs. The pool is a good size & beautifully warm set in a pretty garden.
We always hire a car so it's not a problem for us that there isn't much going on in the immediate area restaurant-wise, although Casa Carlos 5 min walk away is certainly a welcome addition since our last visit.
We look forward to staying in this villa again & would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful, relaxing holiday.
The Villa was spot on. Could'nt fault it in any shape or form. A visit from Jodie the person who manages it for Katie to check if everything was okay was also very welcome. Weather was mixed some days hot, some days overcast and it was cooler at night.
We have stayed in many rental properties in many different countries over the last five years and this was by far the best so far. We were a party of three adults and although we hired a car, we could have managed without it, plenty of beautiful walks and the supermarket had everything you could possibly need, although they didn,t stock English newspapers, we found a little shop called Fragola which is an exclusive clothes shop and they stocked a few newspapers. We have no hesitation in reccomending Casa Paradiso to anyone. Adults, or families with young Children, Thankyou for allowing us to rent your Villa.
Just returned home after a relaxing and quiet week in Casa Paradiso. Well-equipped and comfortable villa with plenty of space both inside and outside. Pool warmed up after a couple of days. Supermarket very close. Taxis very good value - 3 Euros to Marina Rubicon where we ate at several of the lovely restaurants. Walked along the promenade to Marina Rubicon and on to Playa Blanca - where we had another delicious lunch in one of the many restaurants! Hired a car for two days and toured the island (easy to arrange and good value). Back to work now but feel good after some winter sunshine!
This has been our second year staying at Casa Paradiso and looking forward to staying here again next year.
A lovely quite villa with excellent facilities, extremely useful having the second on-suite shower room/toilet. We found it hard not to relax here. Nice and clean on arrival, however there were a couple of maintenance issues and again the pool heating wasn't on for our arrival. The villa would also be suitable for those with limited mobility as it has a walk in shower and handrails for the bath/shower in the main bathroom. Doors are wide enough to get a wheelchair through.
The villa is ideally located within the Playa Blanca area, close enough to the main centre, a short walk (if you want) along the sea front to the beautiful Marina Rubicon and right next door to the stunning Papagayo beaches.
There is a small selection of cafes and bars just 2min walk away, with Papagayo Café being inexpensive (we found it useful for the first and last nights if you don't fancy cooking). For those looking for a pampering session, there is a Spa belonging to the 5* hotel just 5min walk from the villa (just carrying on walking up the road past the commercial centre).
Can't wait to go back and would certainly recommend this villa to all.
A big thank you to Kate & Aaron.
