The apartment is owned by Christine Smith, her son Hayden & daughter Julie. Our family first visited Menorca in 1978 and immediately fell in love with the quiet relaxed atmosphere of the island. Menorca has a rich cultural history with a variety of towns and resorts to explore, all within easy access from the centrally located resort of Son Bou. Some thirty years later we still look forward to spending our holidays on the island with its fabulous summer weather, gorgeous coastline and beautiful beaches.

Our family visited Menorca for several years before purchasing the apartment in Son Bou. We toured many resorts but always felt that Son Bou was the perfect location. When they started building zone four of the San Jamie apartments we knew immediately that number 5 was the apartment we had been searching for. The ground floor unit is ideally located, close to all resort ammenities, with a sheltered patio, short walk to the pool and a large open grassy area safe for children to play. The apartment offers many personal touches and has everything for a great family holiday - as demonstrated by our many guest's comments

Activity and Interests
The long sandy beach is a 10 minute walk past a nature reserve. sand dunes and a gentle sloping beach make for an ideal family holiday.
Mahon airport is 15 minutes by car/taxi.
Car hire is not essential but we can arrange for pick up at the airport or apartment.
There is a bus service to Mahon but a car would be required to see the island.
The 2nd largest of the Balearic Islands but relatively underdeveloped. The apartments are on the south coast and conveniently situated for visiting all parts of this beautiful island. The capital, Mahon, stands at the head of a magnificent harbour and provides leisurely shopping and an excellent choice of restaurants. Crossing the island splendid views can be seen from the highest point, Monte Toro, and a visit can be made to the picturesque harbour at Fornells. At the opposite end of the island from Mahon stands the old capital of Ciutadella which has a Moorish influence in its architecture. An island of history and interest.
Good local access to restaurants, shops, supermarkets, ten pin bowling, water flume and maze.
