The villa has been lovingly finished by the owners to a very high standard, and the garden is completed with trees and mature shrubs. The villa and pool are not overlooked and are elevated from the garden with scenic mountain valley views. The pool is surrounded by sun chairs for 6 and a brick built barbecue with sink area for the warm summer nights. There is also a front porch with table and chairs for eating outside or relaxing and enjoying the view. At the rear of the villa is a second patio, situated in the shade for those long sunny summer afternoons. To the north, the natural park of Montgó rises up to 753 metres above sea level, nurturing one of the most valuable botanical reserves in the Valencian Region. A journey up the slopes shows a wealth of different vegetation and provides extraordinary panoramic views from the top. There is Golf close by at La Sella and Oliva. Horse riding at La Sella also. There is also a safari park Situated at the bottom of the mountain.

I live in Ireland with my wife, and our 3 year old pet Maltese terrier, our children are all left home. My wife and I both work, but spend most of our holidays in Spain, where we have made many friends and have really fallen in love with the country.

We love Monte Pego, because of the fantastic facilities in the area. There are some beautiful beaches and a great range of bars and restaurants. The area is easily accessible with Valencia and Alicante airport less than an hours drive away.

The property is very private overlooking a mountain nature reserve and just five minutes’ walk from our local bar and Restaurant. We are also 10 minutes drive to the beach.

The villa is close to many theme parks and activities for young and old. 30 minutes on the A7 motorway takes you to the theme park, Terra Mitica and the water park, Aqualandia Costa Blanca safari park and sandy beaches are only 5 minutes away.

Other facilities include Cycling, Fishing, Golf, Go Karting, Horse riding, Parasailing, Sailing, Sightseeing, Snorkeling, Swimming, Tennis Courts, Walking, Water Skiing, Wildlife viewing and Windsurfing. Local boats provide a water taxi service between Denia, Javea and Moraira. There is a narrow gauge railway between Denia and Alicante, laughingly called the Orange Express, which is the best form of transport to view the magnificent scenery.

From north to south, the capes of San Antonio, San Martín, Negre and La Nao crown the coastline, create a series of coves blanketed with white, sunbleached sand or shingle. You can choose between the busy beach of El Arenal in the centre of the bay or the quiet Granadella Cove, ideal for scuba-diving or snorkeling; commune with the elements on the nudist beach of Ambolo, or discover the secrets of Barraca, Falsía, Pope o Tangó and Caleta coves... The gentle waves separate the coast from the picturesque islands of Portichol and Descubridor out to sea and sculpt the fabulous caves of Orguens and Tallada.

Perched on the mountain tops are the remains of ancient watchtowers reminding us how attractive this region was for the Berber pirates in times gone by. Further inland, the huertas and vineyards cover the countryside around Javea, speckled here and there with farmhouses showing their typical riu-rau silhouettes with characteristic arched porches used for drying grapes to make the region's famous raisins.

Lovely spacious villa in a quiet hillside location

Superb villa which was extremely spacious with high ceilings. Very clean and well maintained.

Fantastic pool which our children loved and spent many hours in. Cleaned twice during our stay.

The villa is in a quiet hillside location with some lovely views. Ample off road parking.

The local town of pego has many amenities and Oliva and Denia where there are lovely beaches and restaurants are only a short drive away.

Would definately recommend and hope to return next year.

Can't wait to go back!

2 weeks of bliss.

Myself my wife and 3 kids ( 11,14 and 15 years old ) absolutely loved being at this beautiful villa.

Once u get your bearings there are lots of places to go out and about. Denia is about 20 mins drive with a

vibrant atmosphere after 6pm with

lots of market stalls, restaurants and bars.

Casa Cameg was spotlessly clean with comfy beds, beautiful pool and a bbq area (with hot and cold water) that I would have loved to take home with me.

I would prefer not to submit this review just in case it jeopardise's future holidays for myself as have already booked for next year but that would be unfair.

If you want a relaxing holiday in a beautiful area with an owner that is so helpful and approachable then look no further.

Peaceful and Relaxing

Having stayed at this villa a number of times we are very familiar with its location and facilities. The owner is very accommodating and flexible on booking dates outside of the main season. The property is always clean on our arrival and welcoming. Its location is within a few minutes walk or drive of a restaurant on the urbanisation. The is easy car access to supermarkets within 3 miles at Pego and Verger. It is a quiet urbanisation which suits us.

Fantastic villa

We had a fantastic stay in this villa last summer and have re booked for our family summer holiday this year. The villa is a large property with beautiful pool and views. It is a very quiet location on the mountain which is perfect for family. There is a hotel with restaurant and pool very close by which you can use if you want to see more people. The beds are comfortable. We did have a query about the pool which the owner responded to very promptly and there was no problem. The villa and pool area were very clean. The villa is well located. We have stayed in Denia area for several years and this villa is well located to visit here and other little towns. There is a shopping centre nearby which is teensgers enjoyed popping to. Big area for push bikers who need a challenge! We won't hesitate to continue using this property for years to come. We flew into Alicante although Valencia is equally easy. We just look for cheapest deal. Car is essential. Take your Uk plug adapter.
