If I could rate it higher, I would!
This home is wonderful! We haven’t been completely happy anywhere since our last go-to place was sold last year. Something was always missing. NOT HERE! Perfect directions and instructions posted in the house, door code posted when we arrived. Easy to find, quiet and secluded but right around the corner from activities! No complaints from us! The house was perfectly well stocked and so clean. Bed was comfortable and it was cool enough our last full day to enjoy the relaxing fireplace. Thank you, Tim, for everything! We think we found our new home away from home!

Loved it and we will be back if we are back in town!
We loved how cozy the cabin was. The fireplace really set the mood. Our dogs had a blast and were very comfortable. They loved running around in the yard and relaxing by the fire. We were in a 2014 Nissan Altima loaded down with luggage and had no issues going up the driveway. The backroads are narrow, but that is because the cabin is in such a great location away from the busy town. We only had to pull over once to let someone pass by.

Peaceful and relaxing
We really enjoyed our time at the Gathering cabin. Kitchen amenities were plentiful, great front porch with rocking chairs, loved the fenced in yard for our dog! The road in from the winery on is very narrow but only had one incident where we had to back up to let someone through. I was certainly glad it was paved most of the way. We had a great time and highly recommend! Tim communicated extremely well with us, including check out.

As advertised Quit and Quaint
Definitely one of the best cabins Iv stayed at in pigeon forge. Quit on the hill but minutes from the action if that's what you're into. Being pet lovers the fenced in yard was a major plus and the extra towels for the dogs was a great touch. If your looking for a quit quaint cabin that caters to your furry friends this is the place not to mention everything you ll need for yourself is provided. Looking forward to a return trip.

As a lifelong business manager and executive, Tim Kresica has achieved and enjoyed success within the building products industry. As a native son of Chicago, IL, his education and career path eventually led him to opportunities in both Florida and North Carolina. In 2014, the majesty of the Great Smoky Mountains beckoned him to Tennessee where he now lives and works as Resident Manager / Caretaker of Havens on the Ridge in Pigeon Forge.
Tim has always founded his work ethic on a dedication to rendering first-class products and services as well as fulfilling customer needs in an uplifting, positive way. With every undertaking and objective, he applies his belief that details are important. Havens on the Ridge reflect and confirm this belief.
Personally, Tim enjoys amateur photography….engages the great outdoors…..and embraces faith-based worship.

Why they chose this property

Eastern Tennessee's abundant beauty, tempo, and sense of community are enjoyable throughout four distinct seasons. Prompted by a lifelong affection for the Great Smoky Mountains, my search for solace led to a unique opportunity for developing an existing property into a mountain retreat for adults desiring tranquil and serene respite on a year-round basis. Havens on the Ridge offers both while simultaneously being ideally located a short distance from the towering majesty of nature's exploration as well as the entertainment and adventures of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
The property was originally owned by the Blackburn family as their primary residence and boasts a "gathering" cottage for special occasions. Their family tree includes Michael Blackburn who achieved notoriety as the World's Greatest Sharpshooter. It's history sparked a special interest within me, and each day I'm thankful to now call Havens on the Ridge my home as caretaker.

What makes this property unique

Beyond the tranquility, privacy, and comfort of Havens on the Ridge, we strive to ensure a "home-away-from-home" getaway.
The property is safe and well lit at night. There is an abundance of room on the property to walk and appreciate the Foothills of the Smoky Mountains.
If you are bringing pre-approved pets your accommodations like gated, fenced-in areas and places to be walk will be enjoyable for all.
If you would like to arrive early let us know and we'll try and accommodate you. If you expect to arrive late we can have lights (and climate control) on for you.
Lastly... You have an on-site caretaker available to you if you can't get the TV remote to cooperate.., or some amenity just doesn't seem to work... or if you just have questions.
