Spacious (90m²) and quiet flat with garden terraces and garage

A comfortable flat with a generous lounge 6m x 5m , two bedrooms and the unusual luxury of a small private terrace/garden off every main room. Only 2 minutes walk from the Chateau Rouge metro, and less than 10 minutes on foot to the Sacre Coeur, this flat is a delight to come back to after a long day's sight-seeing around the fabulous city of Paris.

With two three seater-settees with cushions, back support and proper arm-rests, socialising around the coffee table is easy and comfortable.

A third three seater settee in the opposite corner opens up into a double bed if need be and causing no obstruction when can be left open or not, according to the wishes of visitors.

Well separated from living quarters, accessed by small hall, the master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with built in wardrobes (full bath, vanity sink, foot bath and WC). The second bedroom has twin beds and built in wardrobes. There is also a separate shower room with vanity sink. Second WC in the main hall.

You may arrive any time between 4pm and 9pm unless a different time has been agreed beforehand. Leaving time is by 11am unless a different arrangement has been mutually agreed.

Great apartment.

We had a fabulous stay in Paris. The owner could not have been more helpful. Any questions were answered quickly. We wanted to arrive earlier than the stated time, this was arranged without question and we had use of the garage. The apartment was much bigger than we expected and had everything we needed. Though on a busy street the apartment is away from the road so no noise was heard. We were only a short walk to a Metro station, through a bustling area. We felt perfectly safe and happy to walk around. We used the supermarket opposite the apartment and also found nearby bread shop. We used a Paris Pass which made our visit even easier. Would happily stay here again.

Very secure apartment handy for day trips to Paris

We had a very happy week here and didn't really want for anything. Owner very attentive, informative and friendly, as was the local agent.

Very convenient to go by Metro into Paris - lots of information from the owner on the best way to navigate the Metro etc. We had no problems and felt secure in the apartment. We enjoyed Sacre Coeur and "Artists' Square" nearby and did many trips into Paris for sight seeing. The flat had everything we needed, although a little "start up" coffee would have gone down well the first morning! However, everything we needed was over the road in the local supermarket and there are a couple of great boulangeries on the same road. Was able to buy soya milk locally and gluten free bread around the corner at Carre Four which was useful. We hired a car later in the week, but our surprise upgrade to a 4 x 4 only just fitted in the underground car park - bit of a tight squeeze to get down the ramps!

Apartment was very comfortable and clean - the 2 showers and 2 toilets came in handy as a family of 4! There was plenty of room for our suitcases in the hall and lots of wardrobe space. The children enjoyed sitting by the fountain outside in the courtyard and the wifi and English TV channels were also much appreciated!

A beautiful haven in a busy city.

We loved our stay here, there was so much room, everything was very comfortable. We would definitely try and stay here again if we were in Paris again and would recommend it to others. Françoise was so helpful and friendly which made such a difference. Thank you so much!!!

Nice big flat with a personal touch from the owner

We enjoyed our stay. The flat was not far from Sacre Couer with great views of Paris, and it was near grocery stores and a great bakery. Unfortunately the closest subway station was closed so we had to walk a little ways, but this is only a temporary situation. We had some issues with the water while we were there but Francoise kept us informed on the problems and the timing for repairs. We would definitely look to stay here again if we make it to Paris again.

Excellent value for money

The flat was spacious, light and well-fitted out, with very comfortable sofas in the sitting room, good beds, plenty of storage space, modern, clean bathroom, shower room and toilet and a well-equipped kitchen. The small courtyard outside the sitting/dining room would have been a nice place to sit, if it hadn't been raining! It was also very useful to have internet access and computer available and it was lovely to see a large bookcase with a good choice of books in English and French. The flat was close to Metro and bus-stops and there were Carrefour and Monoprix supermarkets within five minutes walk and lots of little shops close by. We walked to Sacre Coeur in about ten minutes and there was a bus to Gare du Nord which took about ten minutes. Would certainly book this again. The concierge was very friendly and helpful.

Vive la Paris!

Eine wunderbare Ferienwohnung, sauber, gepflegt, natürlich nicht ganz billig, aber jeden Cent wert. Wir kommen wieder! Auch die Korrespondenz mit der sehr netten Vermieterin war sehr gut: informativ, zeitnah und ausführlich.

Nearest Airport : Charles De Gaulle Airport at 25 Kilometres Nearest Train : Gare Du Nord at 1 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : Porte de la Chapelle at 1 Kilometres Car: not necessary

There are two tube stations (from two different lines) within a hundred yards of the flat. on the way there You'll immediately find yourself in the midst of a throbbing, lively, cosmopolitan crowd offering their wares from Africa or Asia=the area is fast becoming a tourist attraction in itself. Exploring Paris is easy from the 18th arrondissement. A 10 minutes walk and you can watch the painters at work in the famous Place du Tertre in Montmartre, climb the steps to the Sacre Coeur and enjoy the view of Paris, or spend the day trawling the world's largest antiques flea market- le Marche aux Puces.

You can also take your car in the garage below and go and explore the Chateau de Versailles and its historic city around or go and visit Monet's famous house in Giverny, see Eurodysney or shop for luxury goods at 30% or 50% discount in the factory shops of such names as Givenchy, Féraud , Charles Jourdan Dupond e'tc...all regrouped in a big shopping center outside Paris.

Direct access to the outside was terribly important to me as was the fact that, surrounded by private and communal gardens, the flat was free of traffic noise, particularly in the early hours when lorries start delivering.
