About Christopher Dubais

We bought this villa as a country house to spend time with the children and family.

The unusual architecture of this house remembered me of my childhood in the USA.

Christopher Dubais purchased this house in 1998

Why Christopher Dubais chose Deauville

Many attractive features. First of all it is very bright with large windows so that even during not so sunny days, the house radiates warmth and well-being. Then it is of ideal size not so big but large enough to be comfortable with guests. Finally, it is very close to the beach for a quick swim and walking distance to the center of Deauville.

What makes this house unique

The location gives you the proximity to buzzling Deauville while being able to relax in a residential district. You can benefit from the very large terrace to eat and drink outside. The garden provides some shade in the summer.

New year family gathering

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay in this lovely property at New Year. Great house for two families - superb location and Boulangerie at the end of the road. A short walk to the lovely town as well. Cooking facilities are a bit limited but good restaurants are close by. Definitely recommend and will be returning.

Lovely unique property in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

We travelled as a three generation family to this lovely home in Deauville. The property was perfect for our needs and the children loved exploring this three storey colonial style house. There is a beautiful, light living/dining area where we enjoyed family meal times and the garden was secure so the children could play without fear of them getting onto the road. The property was very well equipped, towels, bedding, cutlery, crockery, glasses all in plentiful supply. The location was also excellent - just a few minutes walk to the beach - a couple of times we walked down in an evening with a drink to watch the sunset. The town is about a 25 minute walk depending on where you are going but the walk along the promenade is very pleasant day or night. This is also a great base to explore the Normandy area & we visited the landing beaches & the delightful town of Honfleur. Mr Dubais was very easy to deal with, giving us restauarant recommendations & he was only a phone call away to deal with a couple of queries when we arrived. If we visited the area as a family again, we would not hesitate to stay in this unique home.

Vacances de Noël exceptionnelles à Deauville

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful spacious light property close to beach

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful relaxing week at this beautiful house in Deauville. It's a couple of minutes walk from the beach but in a quiet area with grocery shops also only a few minutes away. The house itself is just a pleasure - beautifully appointed and we could have spent our entire time enjoying the large bright sunny salon, or sun terrace, but there was too much to see and do in Deauville: beach; sea; shopping; racecourse and nearby attractions such as Le Havre. The owner was indeed very friendly and helpful and we particularly appreciated the lack of do's and don'ts and endless rules and instructions that we have been subjected to at other holiday rentals. Here we felt really relaxed and able to enjoy the house at leisure. We would love to return.

Stylish house in great location

  • 5 of 5

The house is very well located not far from the sea and the city centre. Being a detached house with a secluded garden it offers a lot of privacy. The house is stylish and the owners leave their personal effects that add to the charm of the house. We had a great stay.

Fantastic House--Great Location

  • 5 of 5

The house was spacious and clean. Everything we needed was there--dishes, glasses, sheets and towels. The location was perfect--walking distance along the beach boardwalk into town. We loved playing ping pong, relaxing on the back porch and exploring the neighborhood. Very peaceful and relaxing.
