Quiet and relaxing

The house is in a quiet neighborhood right on the beach. The house is very nice and comfortable and had everything we needed. I loved the location and how easy it was to get to. I highly recommend staying here.

Great access to the beach

The house is beautiful, furnitures need updating. The house has everything you need from your home away from home. The location is amazing, the views are beautiful. Just steps away from the beach. The property manager was great, he checked up on us and made sure everything was okay. We highly recommend this house, we were so comfortable and the beds were comfortable also. We will definitely be back in the summer. BEST BEACH HOUSE EVER!

Mundy and Andrew live in houston and have 3 wonderful children, Meg , Noah and Madeline. Andrew grew up in South Africa and spent many vacations at the beach fishing, scuba diving and hunting for crabs and shells as a child. He lived in Canada for many years and is so happy to be back near a beach again. Mundy grew up in Brenham texas and lived on a ranch for most of her youth... she loves the outdoors.
After we spent several vacations in Galveston we decided to find a special place we could call home... we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We live in Houston and have been renting houses in galveston for years and decided we wanted to keep coming back on a more regular basis.

It was important for us and our kids (little legs) to have a beach front property to minimise the walk to the beach and back. we wanted a quiet , pedestrian only beach, far enough away from the main tourist areas but close enough to grocery stores, restaurants and entertainment if we wanted to venture into town.

This small community of homes is perfect for our family and yours and great for kids who want to look for shells, fish, hunt for crabs, build sand castles
The water is shallow and the waves are small and easy for the children to play and swim in.

What makes this property unique

There is something about waking up to the sound of the waves, smelling the ocean air as you sip on your morning coffee relaxing on the covered porch watching the Pelicans fly by .
We love to cook and BBQ and the kitchen provides an ocean view and tends to be the social hub when were inside.
