La Casa Que Ve al Mar #102A

Simple, yet sophisticated, La Casita, a large (1000 square feet) one-bedroom condo is only a short walk from the lovely white sand beaches of Playa La Ropa and its five-star restaurants.

La Casita lies just steps below the two gorgeous infinity pools of La Casa que Ve al Mar, with its lovely gardens and fabulous views of the bay. It is a romantic retreat for two, a world unto itself. You can daydream, read, doze or merely gaze at the sailboats dancing in the bay from the front terrace. The private parking space lies conveniently close to La Casita.

Indoors, it features a living room, a king-sized bed, a walk-in closet, a spacious bathroom, and a well appointed kitchen. The kitchen with its marble counters is very well equipped with everything you will need to cook your meals. Or you can go out and partake of the many fabulous local restaurants in every price range.

La Casita features ceiling fans, two air conditioners, a stackable washer/dryer unit, one smart TV in the bedroom, and maid service two times a week.

It is a magical Zihuatanejo experience.

Great apartment with beautiful views

This was our second stay at Casa Que Ve el Mar. Once again, the property was perfectly clean, quiet and comfortable with the above mentioned gorgeous views. Kitchen was well stocked, bed was comfortable. Property manager Dulce was lovely and promptly responsive to all of our needs. Can’t wait to come back!

Very Nice!

We would have given all 5 star except that the only TV is in the master bedroom (listing said 2 tv's). Once the sun sets, we do like to watch a movie or something while sitting upright. The kitchen has a cooktop with a counter oven. Very good pots, pans, cutlery etc. Kitchen does lack a bit of storage for food. Steve and Lynnette (and Dulce) were immediately on top of all our questions. First class people to deal with. The home very tidy and clean. The bed was very comfortable (previous reviewer said that it was not comfortable). There was a problem with the living room a/c and they had a tech on site within a day to repair. We did not need this a/c because there was always a great breeze that blew through the home. This home is the lowest unit in the A building, so the views are not as good as the higher units (but it still has great views!). The pools are great! Sometimes, from your outdoor patio you can notice that the pool level is just above you. A 10 minute walk down the road will get you to some great restaurants, the beach or playing pickleball at the new 4 court facility behind Oxxo. Thanks for letting us enjoy your home!

Just right

Perfect size for us for our stay. We absolutely loved the view and had everything we needed. Grounds and pool area were beautifully maintained. Short but hilly walk to beach - good to get some exercise. Everything is a quick combi or taxi ride away.

Pros: Nice view. Good location. Nice pools. Functional but small kitchen. Good A/C. The town and people of Zihuatanejo are kind, beautiful and friendly. Lots of great stores and streets you can get lost in with local food and markets which are awesome. La Ropa and Las Gatas(which you can walk to) are clean and nice. Cons: 102A. Do not stay here if you want peace and quiet! Read on if you want the breakdown. Noise from your neighbours who you are sharing a wall with is unbearable. You will be awakened and bothered all day and night with coughing from next door combined with sporadic barking from a small yappy dog. Earplugs won’t help you drown it out. Only one TV in the bedroom not two as previously advertised. 2 cleanings instead of 3 a week as previously advertised. The neighbours are unfriendly and let there dog defecate on the lawn in front of you and leave it there. 18 year old mattress will kill your back. Owners are aware of the coughing issue/dog and continue to rent it. Unfortunately I can only add 1500 characters but could go on. If you want a tranquil, peaceful vacation room go elsewhere. The owner is very concerned about getting a bad review so their business doesn’t suffer. I want to be clear and honest so others will not suffer like we did for two weeks. The coughing/hacking is still ringing in my ears and our backs are going to take a long time to recover. You cannot sit out on your deck and enjoy the view with the cougher. We will not return.

Perfect Stay in Zihuatenejo

The communication with hosts (Lynnette and Steve) in advance of our stay (and during our stay) was immediate, helpful and accommodating. The unit was well equipped, the bed was very comfortable, and the ocean view from the patio was impressive. The building is very well maintained with two impressive pools. The staff are helpful and friendly. Zihua is an impressive place and the location of the unit is very close to the best beaches, restaurants and the main city of Zihua. We are already planning our return. Thanks Steve and Lynette.

Steve and Lynnette are from Canada and have been coming to Zihuatanejo since 2018. They quickly fell in love with the people, the weather, the beautiful beaches, and the breathtaking scenery. It then became their dream to own a little piece of paradise in ZIH and in 2020 became new owners of La Casita in CVM.

Why they chose this property

Just a short walk away from what's considered the most beautiful beach on the west coast of Mexico, this special place has all the creature comforts a person could want to relax and unwind while maintaining the charm of Old Mexico in the architectural details of the building and of the condo interior with its tiled bathroom and kitchen. The panoramic ocean view from the patio will persuade you to make this as your home away from home!
