Situated between the sandstone cliffs of Saxon Switzerland and the Ore Mountains is located approximately 30 km south of Dresden the romantic Trebnitzgrund. Here on Trebnitzbach is the Upper Trebnitzmühle - in a secluded location surrounded by woods and meadows. Lovingly, the former mill was expanded and offers accommodation and recreation with comfort for up to 30 guests.
We welcome groups in our accommodation. Whether a family reunion of the multigenerational family or holidays with friends - with us you can cook together in the group room and sit together. The apartments and rooms offer a personal and separate retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the group. To avoid stress after eating, each kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher.
Due to the secluded location in the middle of nature, you will find a quiet place to disconnect from everyday stress. Whether in the summer a refreshing dip in the pool and then relax on the terrace or go all year in the sauna: to relax there are many opportunities on our large property.
For garden and terrace you have various seating available. In summer, you can even sit in front of the group room. On the property there is a barbecue area and a fire bowl. The fireplace in the sauna and in the residential unit 2 provides for cozy hours. For the younger guests there is a sandpit and plenty of space to play.
A special option is pizza baking in the rustic wood oven. The situation in the valley causes a limited mobile phone reception and thus offers you the opportunity not to be constantly available and to test the partial renunciation of mobile phones and smartphones. Wi-Fi is available to our guests free of charge.
Starting from the Trebnitzmühle you can start directly to hiking in the Trebnitzgrund nature reserve or cross-country skiing in winter and are in 30 minutes in Dresden or on a direct route to the Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland and the Eastern Ore Mountains.
The house has a total of 11 bedrooms in 8 units, 6 bathrooms and a ground floor group room. The residential units comprise three apartments and 5 further bedrooms and are located in two adjoining houses,
• Unit 1 for 4 people with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom; suitable for pets
• Unit 2 for 4 people with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom
• Unit 3 for 5 people (extra bed possible) with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living area and bathroom
• Apartment 4 / triple room on the ground floor with bath (extra bed possible)
• Unit 5 / triple room in the attic with shared bathroom (extra bed possible),
• Unit 6 / triple room in the attic with shared bathroom (extra bed possible), in the attic is a small living area furnished with TV,
• Unit 7 / double room in 1. OG with shared bathroom,
• Unit 8 / double room in 1. OG with shared bathroom,
• group room with kitchen on the ground floor. Equipped for up to 30 people.

Bed linen and towels are included for stays of 5 nights or more. The set can be booked for 10 €. On request we can offer extra beds for 10 €.

Note for holidays:
For the specified holidays, you can only book the holiday building and the group room for a maximum of 18 persons. Other rooms are not available during this time.
- Ascension and Pentecost: minimum 4 nights
- New Year's Eve: minimum period 7 nights from 27.12.
