We had a great long weekend at Peartree Cottage. Surrounded by lovely countryside and sheep! Very handy for lots of places to visit and there are a lot to see. The cottage was perfect, very clean and tidy and equipped with everything you could possibly want, even down to Sky Sports😀.

We thought Crofton Castle and Bennington Hall were worth the visit and we had a great drive through the Brecon Beacons and Black mountains, but the best town to visit is Ludlow.

We thought the cakes, tea and coffee, ready for us on arrival was a nice thought.

We would definitely recommend to family and friends and hope to get back for another stay as well

Fabulous cottage

  • 5 of 5

So pleased we found this cottage as we will definitely be returning regularly. The cottage was spotless and there was everything we needed and more. The owners struck the perfect balance of being on hand if you needed them but leaving you alone to enjoy your holiday if you didn't. The setting is stunning, plenty of parking and not too far from Hereford but far enough to feel like you're in the countryside. Overall a fantastic holiday in a really comfortable cottage.

Compact but extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped accommodation in superb location. Unable to identify any way in which accommodation could be improved. A real find and highly recommended.

A beautifully presented cottage rural Hereford.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Peartree Cottage in July 2014 and had the most wonderful, relaxing week. The cottage itself is immaculate and very homely, with wonderful touches such as thick, fluffy towels, a kitchen with every utensil you could need, and delicious homemade cakes to welcome us on arrival. The very rural setting means that night times are very dark and quiet, which is bliss if you usually live in a busy town. There was another family staying in the adjoining cottage but we barely heard them, the party wall is obviously well insulated. The cottages are located at the end of a long gravel track, so the only negative aspect is that it would be tricky to take a pram out for a walk. However, there are ample local attractions in easy driving distance, and the gardens next to the cottage are lovely for little ones to explore. We particularly enjoyed seeing the sheep in the fields behind the cottage every day. Suzanne and Kevin make lovely hosts and we'd have no hesitations in booking a return stay.
