Fabulous fortnight had by all!

We had a fantastic 2 weeks at this property. The owner was easy to contact by email throughout the whole process and very helpful.

The apartment is an excellent size, very light and spacious and of course the view is gorgeous.

We spent 2 weeks here with our 2 very young children (aged 4 & 1). The apartment was perfect for us and included a box of toys, games, beach toys,travel cot and bedding, high chair, a child's car seat, a baby swimming float, 2 beach parasols a scooter and a buggy. We would never have managed without the buggy as an extra for our 4 year old because there is a lot of walking! We were also so very grateful for the beach toys and parasols.

The air con was useful in the main living area. The bedrooms have ceiling fans but it was OK for sleeping, especially after a few days of aclimatising to the 30 degree days and 26 degree nights!

The resort itself is quite a way with little ones but a decent walk if you're without kids. We had a hire car which we used a lot. We also took the bus into torrevieja a couple of times and that was quick, cheap and easy. Torrevieja has something for everyone and a wonderful atmosphere along the prom in the evenings. Very child friendly in all the restaurants. Our favourite restaurant was Vela Beach on the main prom. Near the apartment as you walk towards the right along the coast there is a PERFECT restaurant called Ferris. Beautiful location, beautiful tapas and again very child friendly. It was for us the best place within walking distance of the property.

The car also came in useful to visit the huge variety of beaches within about a 15 minute drive. The beach outside the apartment is rocky so not great for our little ones but would be fine for older ones. We drove to Cala Piteras, La Zenia and La Mata. All different and all fantastic for children and adults.

The pool at the apartment was warm and inviting. We spent hours in there with our 4 year old.

Overall we would highly recommend this property to all ages but if you are travelling with young children it is very well set up.

Great that you could highlight that the apartment is also ideal for very young families as there are indeed many things stored away for this age group. With the challenges that come with having little children reaching places close by can be a challenge hence the fact I have so many facilities to help with this. The apartment caters to all ages and you have certainly done a tremendous amount with your time whilst staying there....great to hear of some new recommendations regarding eating. Many thanks for being such considerate renters.

A great property with good sea views in a very Quiet part of Spain. Good walking and shopping from a superbly positioned base. The property is well equipped even for christmas dinner and was thoroughly enjoyed

Everything you will need for a very enjoyable stay. Very clean and all the items you would wish for, great balcony and views, well maintained and in an excellent position for Torrevija and Punta Prima. Would recommend the roca Chinese restaurant on the roundabout at punta Pima, best salt and chilli ribs in Spain and the UK - I know my ribs :) and the bar a couple of doors down has pool, air hockey and table football - excellent for us when the weather was not so good (October). Will be going back in April so keep me a week please.

Excellent accommodation and location

We had a wonderful week beginning 20 August 2015. A new destination for us but we felt pretty well prepared and had plenty of information and local knowledge from Sarah who was only too willing to help us. Apartment was extremely well equipped and generally of a high standard throughout, very spacious balcony with great outlook inc. the sea. Quiet location but walking distance from several bars/eateries with plenty of selection and reasonably priced. Aldi 5min. Walk but not visible from the balcony. Pool area excellent, not cluttered with sun beds but very spacious and quiet. Beach 5min. walk and although rocky only another 5 min. ton a more sandy beach and very pleasant grassed area with bbq areas. Overall delighted and may well return as so much more to see and enjoy.

Place to stay in Torrevieja

We had a really lovely holiday in Torrevieja. The apartment in Mar Azul is in an ideal position not too far from Torrevieja town centre.Has a terrific view from the apartment balcony looking out across the ocean and inland. Apartment is very comfortable with everything you need. All kitchen and bedroom requirements catered for.

Area surrounding apartment building is well maintained as is the pool.

We would recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to holiday in Mar Azul ,Torrevieja.

A Popular location, easy to reach from Alicante or Murcia airport, and right by the beach, with many more beautiful beaches within easy reach. Fantastic climate.

Torrevieja has a seafront promenade, clean beaches, a modern yacht club, many water sports facilities, including diving centres, and water parks for the kids, like Aquapolis. It also has many great restaurants and bars. Boat trips to the Island of Tabarca and evening dinner cruises are also possile. Plenty of shopping too. The miles and miles of sandy beaches along this stretch of coast, including Torrevieja and Guardamar, have been awarded 45 EU blue flags. The biggest Theme Park in the Meditteranean, Terra Mitica, is also worth a day trip. Take time to visit some of the country villages and sample 'the real Spain'. Inland you can find breathtaking mountains, peaceful lakes and lush valleys. In La Mata y Torrevieja Lagoon nature park salt mining combines with concerns for conservation through protected marshlands and nesting sites for birds. Many wild flamingoes in this area always delight visitors. Numerous excellent golf courses include Las Ramblas and Villa Martin very close by.

Golf: The golf courses of La Marquesa, a comfortable course lying between 2 mountains; Club Real de Golf; the beautifully landscaped La Finca; Campoamor; Las Ramblas; and Villa Martin offering a variety of holes and fast greens are all within a 20 minute drive of the apartment. The world famous La Manga golf course is just 40 minutes south.

  • Sleeping 6 adults comfortably and with two additional baby cots the apartment can accommodate up to 6 adults and two young children (0-3) very comfortably. The Master bedroom has a window with beautiful sea view, plenty of wardrobe space and access to the en suite bathroom, which comprises jacuzzi bath and shower, toilet, bidet and sink. The second bedroom comprises two single beds with access directly onto the spacious balcony also sea view, and also contains adequate wardrobe space. Both bedrooms are beautifully and simply decorated with clean linen and towels supplied. The double bedroom has a brand new bed and there are two brand new fold away child cots. Both bedrooms contain ceiling fans which are adequate to keep the rooms cool in the Summer as the apartment building is so well insulated. In the living room is a very easy brand new sofa bed which makes an excellent bed. Air con in living area.
