About this property

The apartment is on the 4th Upper floor of a passive house completed in December 2010 in the Vauban district.
The apartment is intended for two people.
There is a bedroom with a double bed and a large closet. The kitchenette in the open living-dining area is fully equipped. The large south-facing balcony with a view of the Schönberg is well shaded in summer and offers plenty of space to relax. There are two roof terraces that can be used by all house residents with a very nice panoramic view of the city and the whole area. In the apartment there is a DSL connection, TV and radio with docking stations for your i-pod or similar. The apartment is accessible by elevator, organized barrier-free, the bathroom has a floor-level shower. The washing machine in the basement can be used, ironing facilities are available. There are two simple bicycles for a short trip to the neighborhood, if you want to make more ambitious trips, you can rent bikes in the district.

A Great Place to Stay

Started with good communication with Gabi by email and SMS. Gabi & Thomas met us at the apartment and showed us around. The apartment is exactly as photographed, so clean and well maintained that we felt we were the first people ever to use the apartment. I was staying with my wife and teenage daughters, the girls had the bedroom, my wife and I slept on the most comfortable sofa bed I had ever slept on. Every type of kitchen utensil you could think of is in the drawers -really well equipped apartment with super fast internet. I decided to leave the car in the basement garage most of the time, the tram is 5 minutes walk from the apartment which takes you all over Freiburg (and to the station). We took the car into the Black Forest a couple of times and the train to Basel and the tram to the great cable car ride at the edge of town. In a week we just scratched the surface of the things to do in the area, we will be back to do the rest! Thank you Gabi & Thomas your apartment was wonderful.

Sehr geschmackvolle, helle Ferienwohnung

Die Ferienwohnung ist geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ruhig. Die Übergabe klappte dank der guten Vorinformationen ohne Probleme, ebenso die Nutzung von Tiefgarage und Fahrrad (das Herrenrad leider für 2 Frauen nicht brauchbar). Der Balkon ist sehr geräumig, nach Süden hin. Mit der Straßenbahnlinie 3 ist man ruckzuck in der Stadtmitte oder am Bahnhof. Einziger Minuspunkt war die Sauberkeit unterm Bett im (jede Menge Wollmäuse) und die schmutzige Rückwand an der Küchenzeile. Alles in allem eine schöne Woche im interessanten Vauban - Viertel.

Freiburg ist eine Reise wert

Die Wohnung ist schön und wohnlich gestaltet. Die Kommunikation klappte sehr gut, trotz Schwierigkeiten bei der Anreise (Bahnstreik). Es hat uns insgesamt sehr gefallen.
