Situated in the heart of Old Antibes our self catering holiday apartment is on the first floor of a traditional Bourgeois French building with high ceilings and original tomet tile floors. Our Old Town apartment in Antibes is within 5 minutes walk to the beaches, restaurants, shops and the largest marina on the Cote d'Azur and is perfect for those who like to be in the centre of a traditional French town. Rue Docteur Rostan is in a quiet picturesque street with a church and two restaurants. Our self catering apartment in Antibes has been recently refurbished to a high standard with traditional wooden furniture in the bedrooms & living room. The self catering apartment has two large bedrooms with one double bedroom with two windows and one twin bedroom with one window, a modern fitted kitchen (integrated fridge freezer, electric oven & hob), bathroom with shower & a large living room/dinning room. The apartment has a washing machine, satellite TV, DVD/CD player/radio and FREE WI-FI.

Our holiday letting apartment is a short walk to one of the largest yacht harbours in the Mediterranean. There are an abundance of quality restaurants, shops, galleries and cafes nearby. The wonderfully colourful Provençal Market is just two minutes walk away guaranteeing you the freshest local produce. The Picasso Museum and the impressive Roman Cathedral are also only a few minutes stroll away.

La Gravette beach is a lovely sandy beach less than 5 minutes walk away. It benefits from a breakwater making it particularly safe for children. Marineland, La Ferme du Far West, Aqua splash and Adventure Golf are only a ten minute drive away.

Antibes is in the prestigious heart of the Cote d'Azur between Nice and Cannes. Our holiday letting apartment is a 10 minute walk to the train station, there are regular trains to Cannes, Nice, Monaco and to Italy. Other places of interest are: Biot (famous for its glassware), Grasse (known for its fragrances & perfume museum), St Paul de Vence (a beautiful village known for its art), St Tropez, Menton, Eze, Ventimiglia, Grasse). Nice Airport is only 20 minutes away by taxi, bus or car.

It is also a good starting point for touring the Alpes Maritimes region, with its medieval perched villages, and spectacular gorges.

Sailing, yachting, water-skiing, wake-boarding, canoeing and wind surfing are all available locally. There are many golf courses in the area and there are tennis courts in the town. Skiing is available at Isola 2000 or Auron, both are about 1.5 hours drive away. The Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix are both in May. The Juan les Pins Jazz Festival is in July.

Great location. We stayed for two weeks attending CIA. We were able to walk everywhere as it is close to restaurants, beaches, markets, trains. Quiet safe side street. Fit our needs perfectly.

We enjoyed a wonderful family holiday here in August 2016.

The owners were friendly and informative. The apartment is well located in a quiet street close to the bustle of the Old Town.

Easy to access from Nice airport by bus being a shortish walk from the station.

We all loved our stay and cannot wait to return.

Affordable, spacious, character property in Old Town

Our family's experience of renting this property was a very good one. The owners were highly responsive and really professional in their dealings, and a small glitch, something beyond their control, was dealt with speedily and generously.

The apartment is really central to everything in Antibes, whilst the street itself is really very quiet with traffic blocked off largely, and attractive, especially in the evenings with the old-style lanterns hanging over it, and the magnificent restored chapel.

The train station took us 10 mins to walk to, the Gravette beach 7 mins, the bus station 5 mins and the supermarkets 3 mins. Of course there are dozens of great places to eat out, some quite cheap. We were regulars at Key West near the beach. There are so many places that you don't have to queue like you do in Nice Old Town.

We found the apartment great for us, with high ceilings and ceiling fans that coped mostly adequately with some very hot nights. There is a really efficient free-standing air conditioner in the lounge, so it's possible to quickly cool the place down.

There is a full kitchen, (full cooking facilities, full size fridge and freezer) unlike some apartments, so you don't feel like you are 'camping'.

The rest of the apartment is well laid out, spacious and well resourced. There are some board games, DVDs etc and cable TV.

The bathroom has a decent shower with unlimited hot water sited over the bath.

Overall, we wanted a comfortable property with character and affordable for a family, and we found it and will be booking again. Thank you to Mark and Caroline.

Great large style apt in the old town of Antibes

We (2 adults and 2 children) have stayed in the old town of Antibes for 14 years now and this is a very nice spacious airy large apartment which is very well positioned in the heart of Antibes on a quiet street.

It was very clean and had all the facilities that we required for our 15 night stay.

Shops, pubs, beaches, bus station, train station all within a very short walk of the apartment.

We have already recommended this to friends.

Great little apartment in the heart of old Antibes

My husband, daughter and I stayed in Mark and Caroline's apartment for the month of June and had a lovely time. The apartment is small but perfectly manageable for a family of 3 or 4. The two bedrooms are good sizes and there is plenty of bedding, cleaning products and so on to manage your time there. There was also a cot in the wardrobe should you need one. One thing that would be a good addition is airconditioning in the bedroom. It was getting pretty warm in there and not yet high summer.

Overall the apartment was perfect for us, we had a wonderful time. The best part was the location, it's right in the heart of the old town

Owner's Response: Our bourgeois apartment is one of the larger style of buildings in the old town of Antibes at 60 square meters with large bedrooms high ceilings and open plan living room/dinning room. Air conditioning is located in the living room with ceiling and floor fans in the bedrooms.

Spacious central apartment

We stayed in this well maintained and comfortable traditional French style apartment for a long weekend and it was fantastic.

The accommodation was very clean and has excellent facilities.

Situated in a pedestrianised street meant we didn't get any traffic noise at night but with the restaurants, bars and shops a 2 minute walk away we could not have been better served by the location. The beach is a leisurely 5 minute walk away and the views across the bay are fabulous.

The bus and train station are about 10 minutes walk from the flat which meant we could get to Cannes and Nice or even further afield easily.

The owners were really approachable, very helpful and supplied us with some great suggestions on where to eat and visit which meant we were able to cram a lot into our weekend away - we cannot thank them enough.

We are already planning our next visit and really recommend this to anyone planning a holiday in the South of France.

Comfortable, traditional apartment with modern facilities in a great, quiet location

The apartment is on the first floor of a traditional French town apartment block in the old town area of Antibes. The road it is on is shut off at one end so is very quiet, apart from the gentle sounds of corsican folk music occasionally drifting up from the corsican cultural society next door. The other residents in the block were also quiet and unobtrusive, and there are strict guidelines on what kind of noise is acceptable and when. Definitely not for a group of party-goers.

The apartment is tastefully decorated in a traditional and comfortable style. The kitchen area is well equipped with everything you could need from pans to cutlery and crockery. Heating and hot water are efficient and plentiful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms a decent size. The double-glazed windows at the front help to keep out noise and the traditional wooden shutters add to the French ambience.

The wifi worked well; we didn't use the television so are not able to comment on that.

Antibes is a lovely place to visit. It has quaint back streets in the old town that are worth wandering through with a plentiful and varied supply of shops, cafés and restaurants. The daily food market is a must, as are the Picasso Museum and the Archeological Museum. The town is easy to reach from Nice airport on the 250 bus which takes you to Antibes transport interchange, a 10 minute walk from the apartment. We had a lovely day out in Ventimiglia (just over the border into Italy) which has an enormous outdoor market on a Friday and a daily indoor food and produce market. We went on the train which takes 1h30 and is €20 return. Amazing views along the coast from Nice to Italy. Sunny days recommended!

The owners were quick and willing to respond to all our enquiries and the apartment was clean and ready for use when we arrived. Check out time is 10am which we found a little earlier than we would like as our flight wasn't until late afternoon.

We would definitely recommend this to friends and relatives.

There are also several museums including the Picasso Museum. The old town of Antibes (Vieil Antibes) with cobble stoned streets hosts a traditional Provencal market each morning and numerous cafes and restaurants. Our Old Town self catering apartment in Antibes is 15km from Nice International Airport and within walking distance of the local Antibes SNCF railway station (TGV and regional trains). Antibes gives you the option of hanging out with the stars in Cannes, driving to one of the may local medieval villages (St Paul de Vence or Biot) or visiting the famous casino in Monte Carlo. The Old Town of Antibes is the perfect location for holiday letting .

Ski: Antibes is uniquely situated on the Mediterranean Coast but within driving distance to the Alps Maritimes. During the winter, summer sports are forgotten and skis are brought down from the attics. Best months for skiing are: Jan, Feb and March. For the serious skiers, the resorts of La Feux D'Allos and Auron are about a 2hr drive away and are fantastic, consisting of minimal piste runs but unlimited off-piste terrain to ski. Both resorts have traditional villages offering good accommodation and a selection of bars and restaurants.

Approx. a 1.5hr drive away is the resort of Isola 2000 that is best suited for the intermediate skier and offers immaculate pisted runs ranging from beginner blues to a couple of challenging black routes. Isola village offers a wide range of accommodation along with numerous French bars and a restaurants.

  • Ou self catering holiday letting apartment has two large bedrooms consisting of one double bedroom with two bay windows and one twin bedroom with one bay window.
