Gravenhurst has implemented licensing for rentals. We have received our license which cost 750. Only rent from legal licensed str as they will be fining renters and owners. All season cottage large on Pine Lake just 10 minutes away from Gravenhurst and 20 minutes to Bala. Furnace and wood stove on a municipal road and we have a snow removal contract in winter.
Two large living rooms and three full NEW washrooms and more. Bring your snow shoes / cross country skis or tobaggan as the property is large, trails nearby. Summer enjoy the sandy beach with sand bottom lake front and entry to the lake is shallow and flat to reach. Great for the kids. Playground too. Kayaks, sup, peddle boat and canoe included in season. Hiking 3 minute walk. Furnace and wood stove for warmth. Just bring the steaks for the new napoleon bbq. and enjoy lunch on the deck. This modern executive cottage and property is ideal for families, friends and nature lovers with well groomed lovely landscaping -8 acres and wetland adjacent to property, fire pit with chairs and sandy flat entry beach. Snowshoe, snowmobile, skate and winter carnivals all around. Privacy when at the beach and cottage. Kayak, canoe and board are included with rental. sports in the area and on the large property. The home/cottage features an open and spacious two living areas with one wood stove and furnace along with 4 bedrooms and 3 washrooms. The master suite is away from the main living area and includes a living room and a 3 piece ensuite, ensuring privacy. There is a private balcony off the master and large deck for entertaining off the main living area. There is plenty of room to run ...the possibilities are endless. Fall colours and lots of hiking but still have Summer-canoe, kayak and board still available for your use on the property and included in the price. Gravenhurst is 10 minutes away; Bala is 20 minutes away--lots to do and don't forget the famous bakery.
Please note: you must bring your own sheets and pillowcases and towels-I have lovely comforters and pillows. All brand new pillow top mattresses and clean modern facilities. No power boats or seadoos allowed.

Super impressed

This property is breathtaking. The photos don’t even do justice compared to the beauty of this cottage. There was a few of us and I must say there was more than enough space for everybody. The private fenced off beach and the floating dock was the biggest hits for our stay. Will be back again and again

80th birthday weekend

The location is beautiful and quiet and the house is spacious and well laid out. The wood burning stove turned out to be essential and not just a cozy nice-to-have. Paula was very quick to respond when booking and was flexible with checkout which was wonderful. The only downside of the weekend were two regional power outages and realizing the cottage does not have a generator. This resulted in a loss of power for Saturday morning and evening meaning no ability to cook, shower or flush toilets. This also meant no heat aside from the wood burning stove and it was -30. We had my 80 year old mother and 6 year old grandson and a cottage without heat, or running water in the middle of winter is unpleasant. If you are going to rent this cottage be sure they have purchased a generator if you are there in winter.

Why they chose this property

Winterized large place on municipal road with snow plowing. Great for snowmobiling, snow shoeing, skating and winter carnivals. The beach is sandy which is unusual for Muskoka and it has a flat shallow entry to water which is great for families and friends. Clear clean swim water, too. Jump in the kayak, canoe or paddle board. Fun. Firepit for night.
You’ll have to come inside sometime, so you may as well be comfortable, right? We’ve got you covered. I have loved cottage life since childhood. We finally have a place with all conveniences inside and out.

The large, open concept living and dining room combination layout provides ample room for the family to gather or children to play. And a sunlit, grand view of the property and waterfront is enjoyable from the floor to ceiling expanse of windows.

A surprisingly generous galley style kitchen is furnished with an abundance of cabinet and storage space, and all the appliances needed to work your culinary magic.

When you want to take a break from all the chopping, dicing and creating, just step onto the outside deck through the walkout and my beautiful garden, firepit. bbq, lounge chairs etc.. No one will be the wiser.
Winterized cottage on Pine Lake with contracted snow removal and municipal road which is plowed. Snowshoe, tobagon on property skate trails at Cranberry Farm just 20 minutes away or in town 7 minutes away.
Cross country 3 minute walk. Furnace and wood stove for warmth.

Fire pit for night, only. Use of canoe, paddle board, kayak and pedal boat.
Devil's gap trail entrance 3 minutes away for snowmobiling, shoeing, hiking. Dog sledding in the area. Also Hardy Lake Trail is just 10 minutes away by car.
