This apartment is on the ground floor in the same building as the other 2 apartments, in a quiet neighbourhood close to the historical center. It has an area of 40 square meters including balcony. It consists of a bedroom with a comfortable queen size double bed, a wardrobe, SAT TV, DVD, radio, CD, writing desk and chair, safe deposit box, small library and balcony. There is a large fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, stove, oven, coffee maker, plenty of dishes, a sofa , a table with 2 chairs and a wardrobe. Bathroom with shower, WC, hairdryer. Babycot and baby high chair. Wifi. Washing machine and tumble dryer in the washing room on the same floor, common to my 3 apartments, for free use of our guests.
All our 3 apartments are located in a small house in a quiet neighborhood, at most 15 walking minutes from the historical center. Each apartment has a private parking place in the yard, wifi, SAT TV, DVD, a well equipped kitchen, queen size beds, a safe deposit box and a baby cot and baby high chair. Common to the 3 apartments is a washing room on the ground floor with washing machine and tumble drier, for free use of our guests. In the little garden in the back you will find an open hut for bikes, in case you decide to rent one.
Bedlinen and towels are provided.
All apartments are non-smoking apartments. Smoking only on the balcony or in the garden.
You will find a folder on the table with a list of restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets close by , on the way to the center and in the center.
You'll find several restaurants in the neighbourhood, at a walking distance of 2 to 10 minutes, also 2 supermarkets at most 10 minutes walking distance and a bakery about 5 walking minutes from the apartments.
Bus number 27, at about 3-4 minutes walking distance in Ganshofstrasse takes you to the center, to the central train station and to the airport. Bus number 2, about 5-6 minutes walking distance on Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse will also take you to the airport.
Check in time: If there are guests leaving on the same day, check in time is around 13-14 o'clock. It is possible to bring your luggage to the apartment from about 10:30 o'clock, but the apartment will be clean only at about 13-14 o'clock.
If there are no guests leaving on the day you arrive, you can check in anytime .

I used to live in the 3 room apartment and I love it because it is so close to the center (15 walking minutes) but in a quiet residential area, in a small house with altogether 6 apartments, with a private parking place for each in the yard and a small garden in the back. What I also like about my apartments is that they have doors and windows in 3 directions so they are airy and there is almost always sunlight coming in somewhere. There are bus stations not more than 4-5 walking minutes away, still it is quiet, you don't hear the busses. And you can walk to the historical center in 15 minutes through pleasant streets. I also love the tall Magnolia tree in the back yard.

i am a 70 year old woman who enjoys traveling by myself & go on 4 two week adventures a year. very rarely do i stay in a hotel & have found wonderful rentals on vrbo. this rental is at the top of my list. dr ruth dick is an amazing woman whose attention to detail is second to none! the apt is so well equipped that one could easily live there! i am a gourmet cook & had everything i needed in the incredibly equipped kitchen. it was so nice not to have to run to the store to get salt, pepper towels, dish soap, etc, etc. ruth met me @ the apt & showed me around. it took me 20 mins to walk to the ctr of town & it was an easy walk. i felt safe & walked home in the dark all 5 days i was there. it was a pleasure to rent from dr ruth dick!
What a great place to stay! Ruth was so kind and amazing, gave us a personal tour of the property, answered all our questions and even helped us get back a ring that my partner left by mistake. She even took the time to give us a map marked with the closest groceries, restaurants and bakery, totally above and beyond. I recommend this place as a wonderful spot to stay and Ruth as a gem of a ,person, kind and considerate! We will stay there again for sure. The perfect way to see the lovely city of Salzburg.

We had a great time in Salzburg and very much enjoyed driving around the lake region nearby which is truly beautiful.
We stayed on the ground floor studio apartment for 6 nights and everything was very much as described. The apartment was clean, kitchen well equipped (but no microwave), bed comfortable and fantastic shower. (Hot water was always available).
The owner was very responsive and answers all our queries very quickly. Thank you Ruth 😀
The only negative was that the internet access was unreliable and extremely slow. The owner told us that there was an issue with the router and this would be resolved. Sadly, it was not fixed during our stay.
The street where the apartment is located is a quiet residential area. That said, there are a few restaurants and supermarkets within a short walk.
We had a car and there was free parking behind the apartment building. We opted to take the bus into the old town - #1 or #27. A travel pass is recommended. We bought a weekly - great value and very convenient. We preferred bus #1. It leaves from Glansteg on Maxglaner hauptstraße - turn left to end of street and cross foot bridge to Maxglaner hauptstraße.
Salzburg is a beautiful city with plenty to see and do; and an excellent range of restaurants. We especially enjoyed Sternbrau on Griesgasse 23. Allow a minimum of 2 days to see the sights of Salzburg. We would also recommend a day trip to St Gilgen and St Wolfgang.
Very satisfied. It was easy to find, it had sufficient parking spaces. We had the ground floor studio apartment. Clean and comfortable, TV, but no English laungage channels, which was not a problem for us. Great shower, with a very efficient boiler, but a very big boiler, you WILL bang your head on it when getting off the toilet. Easy walking to the city, no need to use your car or the excellent public transport. I was very happy to stay here.
The nearest supermarket is a 10 minute walk away. Turn right as you leave the property, then take the first turning to the right, go to the end of the road. Turn left onto the main road. The supermarket is called BILLA is about 200 meters on the right.
A great one-bedroom apartment with full kitchen and a spacious bedroom with large screen TV. About a 15 minute walk from the City Center/Riverwalk area of Salzburg. Very clean and well appointed. This unit has a nice patio and off-street parking. There is a good local restaurant about two blocks away, as well as several fast-casual places like a pizza shop that is highly rated (though we did not eat there). This unit is in a mid-sized apartment building, which was very quiet. The building is in a mixed-residential neighborhood with single-family and apartment buildings, and on a very quiet street. We would definitely stay there again!
