Situated on the much favoured 'South Finger' of Jolly Harbour, this Villa (with Wifi Internet) is spacious and fully air-conditioned and is a 5 minute stroll to the finest white sandy beach with 'Castaways' restaurant/bar and sporting facilities. The Villa has a refurbished and fully equipped open plan kitchen, large sitting room/dining area (cable TV/DVD player and comfortable furnishings) and there is direct access via patio doors to a terracotta tiled terrace with a table and chairs, BBQ, sun loungers and private boat mooring. Downstairs cloakroom with washing machine. Upstairs, the Master Bedroom (with balcony overlooking the water) and second Bedroom both have there own en-suite bathrooms. Bed sheets and towels are provided. There is a garage and private driveway.

All the Marina Complex facilities are easily accessible within a few minutes walk, including a large well stocked supermarket, good variety of restaurants/bars, banks, boutiques, outdoor 25m swimming pool (free to residents), fitness and sports centre, squash/tennis courts and an 18 hole Golf Course. Gated 24 hour security.

We chose the Villa over others for it's south west facing aspect over the water inorder to benefit from sunshine from mid morning until sunset.

Ideal villa for a stay in Antigua. This island is absolutely stunning, with so many beautiful beaches and countryside to visit. The local people are a delight to meet, as we found exploring their island of paradise.

Spacious, well equipped, good location

Our recent 10 day holiday staying in this apartment was fantastic. This is a well equipped and spacious villa in a great location. Good value too. Our friends joined us last minute and the two bedrooms both with en-suite was a bonus. The kitchen is fairly small but very well equipped with plenty of plates, glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils to cook on the large American style cooker. The main sitting area opens out to a large terrace with a wonderful view of the water way with a jetty. The master bedroom is very large with patio windows opening out to a private balcony, big enough for a couple of sun beds.

There is a very well stocked supermarket 10 minutes walk away selling Waitrose 'essentials' range which was most strange. The only downside was how expensive it was but we found this to be the case with most of Antigua. Not helped by the exchange rate.

Paul, the villa owner has been exceptionally helpful throughout. He happily answered the many questions we had and when we had a fault with the AC unit during our stay he communicated with HBK, the managing agents to get it fixed. HBK were helpful and friendly and its worth speaking with them if you have any problems or queries during your stay.

We didn't need the golf buggy, however, we like walking and we saw so much more of the bird and wild life during our walks. If you wanted to go to North Beach which is a bit quieter, you might need a buggy for that purpose. We found a very quiet area of South Beach right at the far end. A 15 minute slow stroll away. There were no facilities there but if you like a peaceful day then its worth a visit. The buggy would have been useful for shopping but as there were four of us we shared the load.

Trips. We hired a car for 2 days. Be careful who you go with. We were recommended Pineapple Rentals by a few people and were told to avoid Budget Rentals. This enabled us to do a complete tour of the island. Driving was easy despite the pot holes. Speed limit is slow and quite pleasurable. Left hand drive for us UK folks made it a dream.

Stingray City - a must do trip. Loved every minute of it. Catamaran snorkling trip (Mystic 2). The catamaran was great fun with an open bar, music and good food. We had a small group which made it fun and friendly. The snorkling off the reef is not for beginners. We would happily return to this villa again if we return to Antigua. Sue & Dave

Another Fantastic Holiday!

This is a lovely house with all you require, washing machine, iron, coffee machine. The location is very relaxing and quiet but close enough to bars and restaurants if that's your thing. I'd recommend renting the golf cart as it makes shopping easier. Communication from the owner, Paul, was good and he was very helpful.

I'd recommend this house to all. We look forward to staying again.

Unberlievable

I have just returned from a two week holiday and I'm finding it hard to put into words how to describe this fantastic villa situated in the most wonderful location.

The villa is superbly equipped with all the amenities you could ever need with a beautiful outlook over the water at the rear and the use of the golf buggy which we found essential. Jolly Harbour in it's self is a beautiful location with many bars and restaurants set among the yachts and boardwalks all you need for a perfect holiday, so what are you waiting for get booked for a fantastic time in this outstanding villa in an outstanding location on the beautiful island of Antigua.

Perfect villa, perfect setting!

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at this villa. First and very importantly- the beds were all so comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen with a good size fridge-freezer, which had loads of ice packs usual for days out. Lots of adapter and mosi plugs, which came in very useful. Maintenance were very on the ball when we needed a light bulb changed we couldn't reach. The beach is just a stroll away, with the local supermarket- great for meat for the BBQ, not much further. We hired the buggy as although the supermarket isn't far, carrying it all back can be a trek! All in all a wonderful holiday made that much better by the standard of the villa.Would stay there again on our return visit to this beautiful island.

Antigua with it's all year round warm climate boasts that it has 365 beaches, one for every day of the year! The island offers a wide variety of things to do and see from boat trips, island safaris and rain forest zip wires to visiting the public market and colourful shops at St John and the historic Nelson's dockyard at English Harbour. Explore the countryside through tropical forests, local villages and visit deserted sandy bays and beaches.

Jolly Harbour is not only the largest marina complex in the Caribbean but is a perfect base and it has everything you could possibly ask for to enjoy a fabulous holiday in a spectacular location. The fully tiled terrace leading to the water has a bolted gate for complete child security. We regret that smoking is not permitted inside the villa.
