About Robyn Vandenberg

I love historic buildings and this is an exceptional house. It is so large and spacious with a very beautiful original staircase. The location makes it a fun property to offer to guests. It is right in the center of town and close to all our water attractions.

Why Robyn Vandenberg chose Grand Haven

I picked this house because of it's beauty and size and location. When I bought it, it was calling my name to restore it. We have kept it as close to it's original splendor as possible.

Just Right For Us!

  • 5 of 5

Overall, I would say the place was great. The apartment was fully stocked with kitchenware, towels, wash clothes, extra pillows and sleeping bags for kids if needed. The place was nicely decorated and only blocks from the beach, shopping and tons of restaurants. The owner/manager was very helpful when we contacted her. The only thing I did not have was a vanity or a small area to get ready at in the morning. We enjoyed our stay and spent most of our time with family but this is a great location for anyone visiting the area.

Adequate and great location

  • 2 of 5

The guest house is quite basic and those in the bedroom will be comfortable. The futon may work for kids but may not provide a good night's sleep for adults. The apartment is functional but the best attribute is the location which is close to lots of restaurants and shops and walking distance to the beach at the lighthouse.

In need of work, but clean.

  • 3 of 5

This home could use some paint, but is structurally sound. It was adequately furnished with everything we needed. It is located a block off of Washington (main street), and within walking distance of everything GH has to offer. Robyn was a fantastic host, and even came late one night, when our keys went one way, and we went the other. Overall, it was perfect except for some asthetic upgrades.
