This traditional Portuguese two-story apartment boasts sea views and is set in the prestigious Clube do Vau. This is a small cosy complex just a short walk from beautiful Vau Beach and 3km from the centre of Alvor. The jewel in the crown of this lovely apartment is the private sun-drenched garden with traditional Portuguese BBQ - perfect for al-fresco dining, sunbathing, children playing or a well-earned siesta after a morning at the beach.

The sunny, fresh 2 bedroom apartment is very spacious and kitted out with all modern conveniences. The main living area leads out into the private garden and the large kitchen has everything you will need for your stay. The apartment has high speed unlimited Wi-Fi and a new smart tv giving you easy access to your Netflix account. You can also stream your favourite music on the sound system.

The south-facing en-suite master bedroom with King size bed opens onto a balcony overlooking the garden with fantastic sea views, the perfect place for a romantic breakfast. Also upstairs is the second bedroom with two single beds and separate bathroom (with bath). Both bedrooms have generous built-in wardrobes and are beautifully bright and airy.

There is a dedicated carpark space in the basement carpark.

The apartment is perfectly located for those looking to enjoy a taste of the Algarve, away from the hustle and bustle of the busier towns. There are many pristine beaches nearby to choose from and for shopping enthusiasts, Aqua shopping centre is just a short drive away in Portimao. There are lots of lovely restaurants in the area serving a variety of local and international cuisines. For those who prefer to cook at home, the apartment has all you will need and more.

For golf enthusiasts, Alto Golf (18 hole, par 72 course) is just next door and the Championship Course at Penina is only a 10 minute drive away.

Notes:
Private car parking is available in a secure underground car park and there is also ample parking available outside the apartment complex. The apartment must be vacated by 11 am on day of departure when new guests are arriving on the same day. Arrivals after 3 pm on change over days to allow for apartment cleaning.

Amazing honeymoon!

We're just back from our honeymoon and had a fantastic time. Derek made all the arrangements really easy for us and even provided a few special treats for our arrival which were greatly appreciated! The apartment is really clean, lots bigger than it looks in the photos and really private.

We had everything we needed in the apartment - fresh towels, bed linen, sun loungers, patio furniture, BBQ, huge fridge freezer...plus plenty of supermarkets nearby for food etc.

Maggie met us in Alvor (we didn't get too lost!) and led us the correct way to the apartment, and couldn't have been more helpful...giving taxi numbers etc...really lovely woman.

We were first-timers to Portugal and took great delight in exploring the seafood restaurants in Alvor (and a few pubs too of course!). We rented scooters from Praia de Rocha and headed out to the mountains and also went to Sagres which was really nice (very windy!). A great location to see lots of Portugal from and plenty to do if you just want to chill out. I really recommend the sunset champagne cruise that leaves from Alvor harbour.

Definitely recommend hiring a car if you're going at the height of summer heat. There's underground parking provided...it was too hot to walk any great distance so the car really got used even for short trips to the shops.

All in all a great place, we can't wait to come back for a second honeymoon soon!

Wonderful holidays in a lovely apartment, simply decorated but with a very good taste.

A quiet place to spend holidays, far from noise and confusion and with a pleasant garden with a bbq!

The property was perfectly placed we were 5 minutes away from a fabulous beach and restaurants in alvor by car. There was a small beach which you could walk to but we preferred the big beach, you are only 5 minutes away from praia de Rocha by car also brilliant. Magia was really lovely and helpful she let us in a bit earlier too as we had an early flight, she was very friendly. The apartment is large clean modern and really spacious great garden, cool too there are fans too. The facilities in the kitchen are 1st class. We have had a fab time thanks Magia and Derek xxxxx

Beautiful Apartment & Garden

We stayed at this apartment in late May and had a great weeks stay. The apartment was bright, clean and spacious. We are a family of 4 and it was the perfect size for us. The kitchen is well equipped with all the utensils you would need.

We particular enjoyed the garden which has a patio with table and chairs, you could dine outside in the lovely peaceful setting. The bedrooms are a good size with good storage and the views from the small balcony are great.

From the apartment you can walk to the beach but we hired a car with local amenities all close by.

We will definitely be coming back and we highly recommend this apartment.

Amazing Apartment, Highly Recommended

Walking through the door, first impressions are that the property is better described as a house than an apartment. Situated in a lovely quiet community only 5-10 mins walk to the nearest beach. When the tide is right you csn walk from Praia du Vau all the way to Praia de Rocha, and back again...Beautiful beaches and scenery!

The apartment itself was very clean, with spacious living & dining area, fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances. The bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs also impressed. all with modern and tasteful decor. The main bedroom balcony was perfect for breakfast al-fresco while enjoying the ocean view.

The private garden is well kept and ensured we had our own space to relax in the sun, on the loungers provided, and the built in garden BBQ was a great feature for some beautiful sunset dining.

Free Wi-Fi and smart Samsung TV meant we could log into our Netflix account which I'm sure would be an added bonus for any families with young kids. There's also satellite TV with a selection of English speaking channels. The property somehow manages to keep comfortably cool without the help of air con. The temperature reached up to 32°C on our visit and the apartment was always a cool retreat from the sun.

The neighbouring town of Alvor is a must visit, fantastic restaurants and bars along the narrow cobblestone streets.

I would recommend hiring a car, as day trips to nearby Sagres & Lagos are well worth it. The underground parking ensures the car isn't baking in the days heat!

Can't recommend enough, this was our 3rd occasion staying here and we are eagerly looking forward to our 4th.

The overall impression was very good and the garden was lovely. I

The only negatives were it could have been abit cleaner in certain places. There was dirty pans, knives and forks and cupboards could have done with a wipe over. It's the sort of thing that in your own home you know it's your dirt but in someone else's home you find offensive. Also the tv didn't have any info. Otherwise it's such a great place.

Only a short walk from the apartment is beautiful Vau beach. This beach is a favourite with locals and visitors alike. It is the perfect spot for a sunrise or sunset walk. The golden sand stretches out for miles with interesting little caves and rockpools along the way.

The beach is patrolled by lifeguards during the summer months. There are a couple of cosy coffee shops right on the beach which are great for a beachside drink or snack. During the summer season, a great way to pass the day is to hire one of the pedal boats and cruise around the bay – a favourite with the kids.

The picturesque village of Alvor is 3km from the apartment. Alvor is a small fishing village 5 kms west of Portimão and only 40 minutes from Faro airport. The traditional cottages, cobbled streets & picturesque harbour area give Alvor its unique charm & quaintness. Today Alvor is renowned for its superb beaches; the best sandy beaches in the Algarve. There is a wide variety of restaurants in the area to cater for all tastes and budgets.

The area is a golfer’s paradise with the Championship course at Penina, Alto & Gramacho all within a 5-10 minute drive & over 25 top class courses within one hours drive. You could try the jeep safari into the Monchique mountain range or the international marinas at Lagos & Portimao. There are a number of historic places worth a visit including Lagos, Silves & Loule. Also there are water parks & the marine zoo nearby – a great family day out.

For those seeking late night action, Alvor has some great bars and live music. Praia de Rocha is a 5 minute taxi drive & has casinos and lots of late night bars & discos.

If you are looking for a traditional Portuguese location for a peaceful holiday, with fantastic beaches, then this is the place to come.
