Furnished to a very high standard, this superb 2-bedroom duplex apartment is situated in the prestigious Clube Do Vau, just a stones throw from picturesque Vau beach & 3km from the centre of Alvor. The duplex boasts spectacular sea views & a beautiful private sun-drenched garden. The property is very spacious and beautifully decorated, with the main living area leading out into the garden, ideal for sun downers and al fresco dining. The large kitchen consists of an American Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing machine, Microwave, Electric Hob & Oven, Toaster etc. The large south-facing en-suite master bedroom with King size bed opens onto a large balcony overlooking the private garden with fantastic sea views, the perfect place for a romantic breakfast. For Golf enthusiasts Alto golf , an 18 hole, par 72 golf course, designed by the late Sir Henry Cotton, is located just beside the apartment complex and the Championship Course at Penina is just a 10 minute drive away.

Amazing honeymoon!

We're just back from our honeymoon and had a fantastic time. Derek made all the arrangements really easy for us and even provided a few special treats for our arrival which were greatly appreciated! The apartment is really clean, lots bigger than it looks in the photos and really private.

We had everything we needed in the apartment - fresh towels, bed linen, sun loungers, patio furniture, BBQ, huge fridge freezer...plus plenty of supermarkets nearby for food etc.

Maggie met us in Alvor (we didn't get too lost!) and led us the correct way to the apartment, and couldn't have been more helpful...giving taxi numbers etc...really lovely woman.

We were first-timers to Portugal and took great delight in exploring the seafood restaurants in Alvor (and a few pubs too of course!). We rented scooters from Praia de Rocha and headed out to the mountains and also went to Sagres which was really nice (very windy!). A great location to see lots of Portugal from and plenty to do if you just want to chill out. I really recommend the sunset champagne cruise that leaves from Alvor harbour.

Definitely recommend hiring a car if you're going at the height of summer heat. There's underground parking provided...it was too hot to walk any great distance so the car really got used even for short trips to the shops.

All in all a great place, we can't wait to come back for a second honeymoon soon!

Great having breakfast in the garden

The beaches nearby were fantastic, also Alvor the next town has great places to eat or drink.

Ruhiges, großes Appartment in Strandnähe

Freundlicher und zuverlässiger KONTAKT.

Das APPARTMENT ist wie auf den Fotos geschmackvoll eingerichtet, ordentlich und sauber. Es ist gut ausgestattet, geräumig und hell, mit einem schönen, kleinen Garten und Meerblick vom Balkon aus. Inklusive Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage.

Die LAGE ist sehr ruhig und der Strand fußläufig in ca. 10 Minuten erreichbar.

Absolut empfehlenswert – DANKE an Derek und Magia!

Again, a wonderful place to stay

The apartment is very nice, with plenty of light (the decoration also helps, mostly in white and light colours), and it was very clean. The private garden is very pleasant and it is a very nice place to have meals outsider - with the BBQ! - and to rest in the garden chairs.

The location is very suitable for plenty of activities, including beach, a few meters away.

The description of the apartment was accurate and the owner provides a very good service - it seems he is always willing to please customers staying there, replacing everything that is needed, etc.

The garage is also a plus!

I would highly recommed this apartment and I'm looking forward to staying there again next year!

Lovely apartment

We enjoyed our month long vacation at this property. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, quite spacious and felt more like a town house rather than an apartment. The garden was large and very private. The closest beach was a 5 minute walk away and it was spectacular. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Great holidays!

After spending 15 days in this wonderful property, that looks more like a house than an apartment, I can only say that we loved our stay and are looking forward to coming back!

The private garden, very quiet, was the perfect place to have our meals outside (my husband loved the fact that there was a bbc!). The kitchen is very well equipped, with a huge freezer, and both the main bedroom (a suite) and the other two-bed bedroom are spacious and cool and reflect the owner's "good taste".

All the apartment was very clean, showing that it is very well looked after by Gary and Trina who are both very nice/friendly and helpful.

The Wi-Fi facility, the big TV set and the underground garage are an added bonus.

I would definitely recommend this apartment!

Alvor is a small fishing village 5 kms west of Portimão and only 40 minutes from Faro airport. If you are looking for a traditional unspoilt location, for a peaceful holiday, with fantastic beaches, then this is the place to come. The traditional cottages, cobbled streets & picturesque harbour area give Alvor its unique charm & quaintness. Today Alvor is renowned for its superb beaches; the best sandy beaches in the Algarve. The area is a golfer’s paradise with the Championship course at Penina, Alto & Gramacho all within a 5-10 minute drive & over 25 top class courses within one hours drive. You could try the jeep safari into the Monchique mountain range or the international marinas at Lagos & Portimao. There are a number of historic places worth a visit including Lagos, Silves & Loule. Also there are water parks & the marine zoo nearby. For those seeking late night action Praia de Rocha is a 5 minute taxi drive (approx€5) & has casinos and lots of late night bars & discos.
