Unique stylish 3 bed property with everything you need for a relaxing holiday

Close to Marina Rubicon and the fantastic beaches of Papagayo National Park this individual detached family villa has the best of both worlds. Natural fine sandy beaches within a 15 min walk and the superb Marina with 5 star restaurants and activities for all the family. The villa is very private, secure and boasts a fine garden with space to find a quiet corner and read a book. Children's games including xbox360 are available as is a collection of inflatables for the pool and DVD movies. There is a large patio with curved sofa overlooking the pool the perfect place for alfresco dining. In addition the house has a another private outside area ideal for chilling out on the curved rattan sofa or in the rattan sunbeds.

The Villa is in 1000m of land and is very private, yet close to restaurants and shops. Sleeping 6/7 this luxury 3 bed detached villa has everything you could possibly need. The villa has a large kidney shaped, heated swimming pool set at a temp of approx. 28degs surrounded by a large 'rubber rock' (non slip) surface.

It has a large lounge area has a high vaulted ceiling with leather sofas and TV including BBC/ITV/SKY/DVD/ XBOX360. The master bedroom has a Queen sized bed and a fantastic circular double jacuzzi bath in it's en-suite, whilst the guest bedroom has a King sized bed and addition bedroom with twin single beds share a bathroom with bath and shower. All bedrooms boast ample wardrobe space, chest of drawers, high ceilings, fans and wooden blinds keep the rooms cool with teh master bedroom having coin operated air conditioning. The villa has a safe in each of the double bedrooms together with a laptop safe in the master bedroom for your convenience.

The modern kitchen has everything you should need including: microwave /cooker /fridge /freezer /dishwasher /washing machine/coffee machine/blender and ample cupboard space.

Dining and optional Wi-Fi : The villa has an indoor modern family dining area as well as an outdoor family BBQ patio area with fantastic wooden dining suite and curved rattan sofa. Optional extras are extra large pool/beach towels to hire, Wi-Fi wireless internet connection and a Pool table.

Parking: Off street parking is available in either the drive way or in the owners own parking areas off the street.

Lanzarote is a special island and you have a perfectly situated villa. It is spacious with lovely outside areas which we see you are developing even more with a new bench. The pool is a great design with the two seat steps either end and the safety non slip surround ensuring dry feet before the tiles. And the water is always warm, such a pleasure. Let's hope we visit the Roundhouse again.

Fantastic Villa and location

We had a fantastic stay at The Roundhouse. The villa has everything you need. The location is perfect and it's very private. We loved the pool and the outside space which is where we spent most of our time. Our daughter (aged 3) also loved the villa and pool. We will definitely be returning and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the villa.

A lovely villa in a great location.

We have just returned from a lovely two week holiday at The Roundhouse. The villa is very spacious and in a great location - barely a 10 minute walk to the nearest good supermarket and a few bars. It is really peaceful and feels very private with the walls around the garden. The Xbox and pool table were all a real bonus for our three children and as the weather was very hot we were able to cool off in the beautiful swimming pool. The only real downside for us was the lack of air-conditioning in the lounge and children's bedrooms. There were floor fans but these were not really enough to cool the villa properly and we did resort to swapping bedrooms occasionally to enable the children to get a better night's sleep. We did know there was only air-conditioning in the master bedroom and thought we would be OK but during the height of summer and with no breeze it proved difficult - a real shame. We used the local bus service often and although it was a little more expensive than a taxi we did find it reliable and convenient when we wanted to go to the marina or into Playa Blanca. The Marina Rubicon is about a 30 minute walk along the seafront and has lots of bars and nice restaurants too. Overall a great villa for a family but during the very hot months it does need more air-conditioning.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments and I'm glad you liked the villa and it's location. It is such a shame that you experienced a 'Calima' while you were there, this is where the heat and sand blow in from Africa, this is quite unusual in August as it is more prevalent in the winter months, any other time Lanzarote has a lovely breeze which cools down the villa through the shutters and mosquito nets without the need for air conditioning in all rooms, infact it was put in the main bedroom as a trial but regular guests said they didn't use it. However I'm sorry you felt the villa was too hot but a call to my agents would have provided other solutions for this situation as there were extra fans in the garage or air conditioning units available for hire.

Wonderful accommodation!

10 day August holiday for 2 mums with 2 daughters aged 9/10. Perfect accommodation for our needs. 3 good size bedrooms, one air-conditioned. 2 bathrooms. Spacious living area and well-equipped kitchen. All the pots/pans/cutlery/crockery you could need.

Fabulous outdoor area. Good sized pool, well-maintained garden. Super outdoor eating/lounging area. Even had some beach toy supplies! Very private, not overlooked.

Key safe worked well on arrival.

Electrics failed twice (trip switch) but very prompt response from agents. Pool maintained while we were there.

Great quiet location on outskirts of Playa Blanca. Easy walk to local beach, supermarket and selection of eateries. You could walk to Papagayo beaches but it was too far for our youngsters in the heat. Track to Papagayo just round the corner. Regular bus to town centre although we didn't use this.

Would happily book again and recommend to others. Communications before departure were faultless. Thanks, Chris and Jane, for making everything so easy!

Superb

Although in a residential area, the positioning of this villa means that it feels secluded and is on a large plot. Just a 10 minute stroll from amenities, a lovely coastal walk to Marina Rubicon and a short car drive to the centre of Playa Blanca. The outside space of the villa is perfect - the pergola and seating area under it was fantastic for getting out of the sun. Pool was well maintained and a nice size. Good sun loungers and large dining table and chairs outside. Even lanterns and candles are provided which made a lovely evening dining experience. Pool and garden were maintained while we were there. Inside there is perfect space with 2 sofas and a dining table and chairs, small kitchen but with everything you need and lots of pans, dishes, jugs, glasses etc. Large fridge and sufficient freezer space for ice and a few frozen foods should you wish. A couple of early issues on arrival were very promptly dealt with by the friendly staff in charge of the villa maintenance. Bathrooms large and well appointed. Fans provided for bedrooms were sufficient as there was often a nice breeze through the shutters at night, although there is a coin operated aircon unit in the master bedroom if needed. The 3 fans worked OK for us as as we used 3 beds (2 doubles and a single), however if the other single bed was also in use there would not be sufficient fans to direct cool air to all beds - it would be good to have two fans in the single bedded room. All in all this was exactly what we wanted - a well positioned, well maintained villa with fantastic outdoor space which was excellent value for money. All correspondence with Jane and Chris the owners was very prompt and they were extremely helpful - I would have no hesitation to recommend this villa.

Fabulous holiday villa, clean and spacious, well equipped with a lovely pool and garden.

We had a lovely family holiday this year at the Roundhouse Villa. The Villa was spotless and very well equipped with everything we could possibly need during our stay.

Although the weather was overcast and cloudy for the first 4 days of our stay we still managed to get plenty use of the pool as it was lovely and warm and cleaned regularly by the agents who were on hand with any enquiries we had.

Jane made the whole process from enquiry to booking straight forward and nothing seemed too much bother for her. Would also like to thank Jane for the very detailed directions to the villa (the hire car sat nav was missing) so arriving at night and driving on the opposite side of the road was stressful enough but having clear directions soon had us settle in the villa.

There was plenty outdoor space to relax and enjoy the sun with separate patios around the villa, large comfortable seating area and loungers around the pool.

The WiFi was excellent and we made good use of the pool table that is available to hire, with DVDs, Xbox, games and books there was plenty to keep everyone entertained.

We would definitely return for another holiday at the Roundhouse villa.

Fantastic holiday

We had a wonderful time at The Roundhouse. The pool and outdoor space are great, with comfortable outdoor furniture to lie in the shade or the sun (whichever you prefer).

The villa's position is good if you like privacy, with bamboo fencing so as not to be overlooked by anyone. The area is quiet, with relatively little noise from other families (and everyone is in bed fairly early). The kitchen is well equipped, and there's loads of space inside. Very good WiFi. Easy 10m walk to nearest supermarket and a few small cafe/bars, and a leisurely 30m seaside walk along really good, scenic paths into the Marina Rubicon, where you'll find many great restaurants and bars. Villa owner Jane was really good on email before our trip - helpful and quick to respond. The onsite management were also very good, and sorted a couple of problems we had promptly and efficiently. A very relaxing time all round - just what we needed. Definitely considering a return visit.

A childrens playground & cafe bar is less than 3 mins walk together with a new modern shopping centre with fashion shops and quality restaurants and bars. The sports bar owned by Miguel has everything from Sky sports to quality well priced snacks available everyday. Local beach ideal for fishing and rock pooling for the kids which also has a floating pontoon for snorkelling/diving. A supermarket that sells virtually everything from an amazing variety of fresh and frozen fish/meat/veg/salad to local delicasies is only a few mins walk away. If you are not hiring a car taxis are available from the local roundabout at 3 euros to the main town or Marina. There is also now a new bus route which takes you to Playa Blanca and beyound for 1.5 Euros twice an hour until about 10pm. The Rubicon Marina is only 20 mins wallk away, a great place to relax and watch the boats go by or if you are feeling adventurous scuba diving/paragliding or even a trip in a submarine can be arranged.
