ANTIBES, overlooking the port; marvellous view, walking distance to beach and old town. In a residence with guardian. Comfortable 2,5 rooms apartment of 40m2, might sleep up to 5 persons. Bedroom with double bed (140cm), living room with 140cm bed sofa, furnished hallway with top bed with functional workspace.

Modern kitchen with trad oven, microwave oven .Bathroom with washing machine. Separate WC. Living room with dinner table 4 persons, Terrace with seating.

Locked secure garage.

Optimal central location close to everything. Terrace. Modern furniture. No insight, pleasant surroundings, marvellous panoramic sea view. 1min from train/buses to Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Sophia Antipolis,/airport bus. Skiresorts easily reachable; Isola 2000 & Auron.

If a rainy day would come; a big flat screen, selected books and some films to the home cinema equipment are at place.

Rental includes all charges (like bed linen, towels, electricity, water, aircond ) usage of a.o. PC & Internet (Ethernet cable & wifi) Free telephony to fix lines in most parts of the world , Europe, USA & Canada.

There are marvelous beaches (many!) just a few hundred meters away, both sand - and pebble-stone beaches. If pools are wished: the piscine municipal (3 outdoor pools surrounded with grass and palm trees and indoor pool) is just a few hundred meters away.

Property very clean with good view from terrace over Port Vauban.

The property is well sited for easy access to the Port and Antibes. There is a secure car park which can be somewhat challenging for a big car but once mastered is fine. We were met by the owner and his wife to be shown around, everything was explained fully. It was nice to put a face to a voice on the telephone or by email.

Owner's Response: We're so glad when our efforts are appreciated, we do our utmost to keep our top-rating. That french garages are "challenging" for bigger non-french cars is unfortunately a fact we have to live with.....

Property well maintained and equipped with everything needed for self catering.

Enjoyed our time there with a very good location, particularly for the train and bus station. Once the bikes were fixed we used them to get about the town and to get to the beach.One disappointing aspect was that the beach was more than 300 metres from the apartment, but it was within walking distance. The rooms were a nice size but didn't particularly like the bed being next to the wall. Very clean apartment and the owner was very helpful.

Owner's Response: The bikes might from time to time deflate on a tire or two why we have pump in the apartment. There are different beaches on each side of the harbour within walking distance. Apologies if I have said 300 m to the beach, that is wrong. The waterline in the harbour is though less than that. I would assess the distance to beaches to be roughly 600 m There is a charm with beds that one can walk around but for practical spatial reason in a relatively small apartment the beds are next to the wall (apart from the bedsofa in the living room.) Have never had any comment about it but am now gratefully seeing it as constructive advise to get the ratings I am aiming for

Great holiday apartment

We had the apartment for 11 days in July 2016 and enjoyed great weather, the apartment is on the small side for a family of 4 with adult kids, however this is more than compensated for by the fantastic view over Port Vauban, Fort Carre and the Alps behind. We spent most mornings and all evenings enjoying the view with local excellent food and wine, highly recomended.

Owner's Response: I am glad the weather is appreciated (bad weather can affect my rating) Yes, the apartment is on the small side for a family of 4 with adult kids. Gladly I note that some other factors compensated for the tight living conditions. Adult kids sleep well in the living room as well but then of course that area is blocked during long parts of the morning....That is why we suggest to have kids in the entrance/hallway.

Holiday review

This flat was ideally located close to the railway and bus stops allowing us to travel around the region very easily. We have stayed in this apartment block a number of times before and we have now stayed in 4 different flats. This was by far the best and was very well appointed. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Although a TV was provided with the view you get from the balcony we din't need the TV. We are already looking to book again for next year and will be passing the details onto friends.

Owner's Response: I am glad you liked it and just for clarity I point out that a locked garage (easily acted by elevator) always is at the disposal of all tenants. In the garage there are also two bikes for the tenants perusal... I DO though agree with your view that the apartment is very suitable for tenants also without car as the buses and trains close-by are very good and price-worthy. In case there is no need to reach the remote villages in the countryside; buses and trains are generally sufficient. I look forward to welcoming you back!

Beautiful property with wonderfull owner

The property was pristine and outfitted with all we needed for our family of four. Bunk beds were set for the children. Great having a master bedroom separate from the kids and its own view of the terrace and the port.

The owner was responsive immediately to a problem with the toilet and it was resolved within 30 minutes of my call.

I highly recommend the property and look forward to returning!

Our Happy Holiday

We had a wonderful holiday in this flat. When we arrived everything was clean and in good working condition. The bed was very comfortable and the view from the balcony is delightful. We received all the information we needed from the owner and the nice touch was the welcoming phone call. we would certainly recommend this property to friends and family. It is only a short walk to local shops and restaurants with the interesting old town close at hand. The railway station is also very close and we had some interesting trips along the coast to Juan Les Pins and Nice. A little jewel of an apartment for a perfect holiday. We would recommend the Brasserie L'Alcyon just below the apartment which provided lovely meals.
