About the property

Luxury villa with pool, table tennis, bikes on Golf Course sleeps 8 in comfort.

This lovely villa sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms. It is situated in Golf du Pont Royal. For golfers there is the added bonus of an excellent course on your door step while for everybody the Pont Royal holiday village and all it's facilities are only a five minute walk away around the a beautiful lake. In fact it is one of the closest villas to the facilities. It has its own private swimming pool, one of the most secluded in the area, sun deck and landscaped garden. Designed and built in a classical provincial style and newly refurbished for 2015 to provide a clean, bright but homely atmosphere.

Also for 2015 the villa now has the addition of a gas BBQ and 40' flat screen smart TV to go with our free Wi-Fi.

20 minutes to Avignon and Aix en Provence. 40 minutes drive to the wine mecca (& lovely village) of Chateauneuf du Pape.

Two of the four double rooms contain king sized beds the other two being twin beds. All have plenty of walk in or fitted wardrobe space continuing the uncluttered feel of the bastide villa style. Three of the bedrooms over look the pool, one with it's own balcony.

This open theme continues on the ground floor with the breakfast area, dinning room and lounge all via French doors making the swimming pool feel part of the living space.

Although of classical design, the villa has a modern light feel to it, thus in the fabulous summer weather that the south of France can offer shutters on all windows and doors are an attractive bonus.

The villa provides a functional home from home having both a kitchen/breakfast room with excellent meal preparation facilities a dish washer and a utility room with clothes washing/drying/ironing facilities for your use.

The dining area provides for eight spacious places with additional places in the well positioned kitchen/breakfast room if required.

The lounge opens out from the dinning area providing a relaxing base for an evening in all the year round with it's open fire and luxury leather furniture. The entertainment system includes CD/radio/cassette/DVD/video and cable TV including 11 of the main English TV channels with 3 for children.

The central heating system controls electric convection heaters in all room.

The double garage can be used for your cars and also stores games equipment such as tennis/badminton rackets and table tennis table with bats that can be used on the patio areas around the villa. Four adult mountain bikes are currently shared between our two villas, please inquire about there availability.

The two family bathrooms are complemented by a downs stairs cloakroom that gives access to a further toilet and hand basin.

In summary, Situated in the beauty of Provence, this modern build of a classical design with its French windows, shutters and tiled floors offers protection against both the heat of the summer and the coolness of winter.

What makes this villa unique

This villa was chosen due to its location closest to the facilities in the village and also the spacious garden and patio areas. With the latest improvements this year I believe it now offers a clean, bright but homely atmosphere.

This was our seventh visit to the Villa. On each occasion we have found the Villa to be very clean and comfortable with most items supplied for a successful self-catering holiday, just as described in the internet advertisement.

The owners are very professional in the service they provide at the time of booking.

If any problems arise during your visit, Anne, who looks after visitors on site, endeavours to sort it out as quickly as possible.

The golf course and village are 5 minutes’ walk from the Villa, and there is an Intermarché in Mallemort within a 10 minute drive.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this Villa for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

  • Both the en suite bathroom with shower and the shower room are of excellent modern deign and quality. They both provide a well lit double vanity basina area with an ample mirrored back drop.

Well worth a visit, we will be return

The Villa is well situated and well presented. A large swimming pool with use of bikes and table tennis table a useful bonus. A short stroll to local restaurants and on a safe and secure golf course complex.Also if you fancy cooking from home then the gas fired BBQ is ideal.Nick the owner has been very helpful and has been a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend a visit.

To allow for cleaning and preparation of our superb villas between guests, arrivals are normally after 4pm and departure by 11am
