This lovely villa now with free Wi-Fi, sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms. It is situated in Golf du Pont Royal. For golfers there is the added bonus of an excellent course on your door step while for everybody the Pont Royal holiday village and all it's facilities are only a five minute walk away around the a beautiful lake. In fact this is the closest of all the villas to the village and facilities. It has its own private swimming pool, sun deck and landscaped garden. Designed and built in a classical Provincial style and refurbished so fresh and homely for 2015 now with gas BBQ plus 40' flat screen TV with 11 of the main English channels including children's who will no doubt consider the free Wi-Fi essential to their needs. A large freezer in the garage has been added so you can concentrate on your holiday and not repeat trips to the shops.

Now with established hedging and garden this villa now offers a very much secluded pool area.

20 minutes to Avignon and Aix en Provence. 40 minutes drive to the wine mecca (& lovely village) of Chateauneuf du Pape.

Two of the four double rooms contain king sized beds the other two being twin beds. All have plenty of walk in or fitted wardrobe space continuing the uncluttered feel of the bastide villa style. Three of the bedrooms over look the pool, one with it's own balcony.

This open theme continues on the ground floor with the breakfast area, dinning room and lounge all via French doors making the swimming pool feel part of the living space.

Although of classical design, the villa has a modern light feel to it, thus in the fabulous summer weather that the south of France can offer shutters on all windows and doors are an attractive bonus.

The villa provides a functional home from home having both a kitchen/breakfast room with excellent meal preparation facilities a dish washer and a utility room with clothes washing/drying/ironing facilities for your use.

The dining area provides for eight spacious places with additional places in the well positioned kitchen/breakfast room if required.

The lounge opens out from the dinning area providing a relaxing base for an evening in all the year round with it's open fire and luxury leather furniture. The entertainment system includes CD/radio/cassette/DVD/video and cable TV including 11 of the main English Channels with 3 for children.

The central heating system controls electric convection heaters in all room.

The double garage with one electric door can be used for your cars and also stores games equipment such as tennis/badminton rackets and table tennis table with bats that can be used on the patio areas around the villa.

The two family bathrooms are complemented by a downs stairs cloakroom that gives access to a further toilet and hand basin.

In summary, Situated in the beauty of Provence, this modern build of a classical design with it's French windows, shutters and tiled floors offers protection against both the heat of the summer and the coolness of winter.

This was our first visit to the ‘sister’ Villa, and we shall be returning this year for a second visit.

The same comments apply as to Villa 23, and although Villa 36 is the same layout as Villa 23, its location is better if any of the party has minor mobility problems.

Private, well maintained, perfect week :)

We are a family of 3 (2 adults and a 10 year old). We were looking for somewhere in the sun with a private pool so our daughter could swim.

Nick's villa did not disappoint. Nick was very easy to deal with and made the whole transaction process informal and simple. Even though we arrived very late/early in the morning, Anne (who looks after the villa) had ensured that everything was clean with keys left in a pre-agreed hiding place and beds made ready for us.

The villa itself is on a golf resort, something we know nothing about but the whole of pont royal is very well looked after and the manicured golf course did look fantastic... there were loads of golfers out all of the time - so we assume it is a good course!

Area wise there isn't much to do unless you have a car, there are a few little stores on site - but we drove to the 'Intermarche' iin Mallemort which was only 5 mins away and had everything a decent supermarket in the UK would have and more... To be fair, we just spent most of the week out in the private garden/pool area which is so private that even though the wind really picked up on a couple of days, all we felt was a gentle breeze thanks too the hedges surrounding the pool and terrace. It's worth noting for any families like ours who are on holiday for the pool that it has the sun all day long, and there are shady areas for the children if they get too hot.

There is a BBQ which we cooked every meal on which is gas powered so that made things simple too and if you get boared there is also a ping pong table which was great fun! Inside the living room is large and there is an ultra sharp smart LED TV which we were able to pair our laptop with over the fast Wifi (10mb minimum download and great coverage throughout the property and garden) so that we could watch films in the evening with a beer!

It's about 30-40 mins from Marseille airport and eurostar terminal in a car. Don't know what else to say but thank you Nick for sorting out everything and Anne for your hospitality - we will hopefully be back one day :)

Couldn't ask for more!

We would highly recommend this villa, having just returned from a wonderful 2 week stay there. Immaculately clean and well maintained, we found everything we needed from colanders to chess sets! The mountain bikes and table-tennis were a great success with the teenagers (and grandparents!) Premium location virtually at the lakeside and possibly the closest villa to the P&V Village.We will be back!

I never thought of the point that this villa is in fact the closest of all the villas certainly on this side of the lake to the village and facilities with our other villa not much further away. I must add this to our information. Golf du Pont Royal offers far more than just a fantastic golf course and luxurious accommodation. Even without venturing out of the gates into Provence there is plenty to do on top of relaxing by the pool drinking a glass of fine French wine. Most within easy walking distance including cycling, tennis riding and volleyball. For details on availability of the Pierre & Vacances facilities call their reception on 00 33 49 0575454 as they are out of our control. Tennis is also available in Mallemort a five minute drive away. If you have children they can be packed off to go paint balling and there is also a kindergarten for the younger ones! There may be some restrictions on the village activities during the peak season.

Also available within the Pont Royal holiday village are restaurants and bars as well as a food shop that stocks the basics. The hotel reception has a cash machine as does Mallemort that usefully has an Intermarche.

Other Activities: Quad bikes from village and small animal zoo next to stables, weekly tennis competition.
