If you want a great escape from everyday life, ROOSTER SOCKS (previously know as Mountain Laurel) offers a peaceful retreat only a few minutes from Pigeon Forge (5 miles) and Gatlinburg (7 miles). It's a quiet location on a dead end street in a security-gated community so you won't have thru traffic noise. Just the sounds of nature all around. But don't worry that you'll have nothing to do--this cabin is filled with fun!

The theatre room on the lower level features a new 86 inch flat screen TV w/sound bar and 4 red stadium-style recliners. Watch your favorite movie or game next to one of the three fireplaces. Everyone has the best seat in the house!

There's more fun in the loft! Remember PacMan, Frogger and Space Invaders? Time travel to the 70s and 80s with these vintage arcade games with the 60-game Multi-cade game table. Shoot a game of pool. Or let the kids have some fun with the new Nintendo Switch on the dedicated monitor in the loft. Plus we've got kid-approved (and chosen) games in the loft for family game night. This cabin will keep everyone entertained!

There is a hot tub for 4 off the private rear deck on the main floor that looks out to the woods--not the neighbors.

The kitchen is well outfitted and ideal for making breakfast or lunch before heading out for the day. Or plan an evening in and cook out on charcoal grill. The stainless steel appliances (stove, refrigerator and microwave) were installed August 2022. Please note: at this time there is no ice maker but we have ice cube trays.

A main floor queen log bedroom provides easy one-floor-living if someone in your party has difficulty with stairs. There's a standard full bath with tub and shower right next to the queen bedroom. The master bedroom is on the lower level and includes an in-room corner jacuzzi tub, fireplace, TV and large bathroom with spacious walk-in shower. The sleeper sofa in the living room folds out to a queen bed with a 3 inch memory foam mattress. In all, the cabin sleeps 6 guests. We also have a pack and play for infants (bring your own bedding). New LG washer & dryer.

Rooster Socks is SMOKE FREE and guests who smoke or vape must agree to do so outdoors only (and please keep the doors closed).

Recently updated to Starlink high speed internet. You can now stream your favorite shows or content on any of the 3 new smart TVs. We hope you don't have to work while you are on vacation but if you must, you will have no issues logging on to a video call or taking care of a few emails on your laptop.

Rooster Socks welcomes adult dogs up to 75 pounds. Sorry--no puppies, kittens or cats. The pet stay fee is $125.00 plus tax and is charged PER PET. We appreciate any supporting details so we can determine if you pet is a good fit for the cabin. We may be able to consider two dogs. Dogs must be experienced travelers. Absolutely no confining of pets to the bedroom or bathroom.
