Apartment LIbeccio is on two floors. On the ground floor it has its private entrance and living areas whilst the two bedrooms both with en suite shower rooms are on the first floor. The lounge is very well furnished in traditional style and has a settee and two armchairs in front of a traditional wood burning fireplace. It is separated by a low wall from the well fitted kitchen and dining room which are one step higher. All the rooms have traditional beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. They are well furnished with colourful rugs, pretty curtains and lots of pictures on the walls giving the apartment a very warm atmosphere. The apartment has its own area in the garden with table and chairs and sun umbrella.
Podere Il Giurato
The ancient farmhouse which is almost 100 years old was renovated in 1983 and lovingly restored in the traditional rustic style, in total harmony with the surrounding countryside: the main building is also home to the owners.
The apartments are surrounded by beautiful tendered grounds and a pleasant swimming pool which is open from May to October.
Also available for guests, a wood oven, and children's play area, barbecue and covered parking for each apartment.

Recently returned from our first visit to Tuscany, where we stayed in a superb italian farmhouse set in manicured gardens which has a large swimming pool. We stayed in the smallest of 3 accomodations which sleeps 4 people. Whilst having all mod cons it also has a traditional Italian feel, with beautiful antique furniture which we loved. Our host Paola, was very friendly and went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay. The communictions before our stay were clear and helpful.
The farmhouse is 30 minutes from Pisa airport and is in a great position to visit all the major tourist attractions. There is a large supermarket/ shopping center 20 minutes away and 2 nice local restaurants.
We would recommend this farmhouse if you want a quiet away from it all holiday. This really is a little piece of heaven, which we fully intend to revisit.
We really enjoyed our stay at Podere il Giurato. The apartment was very nice. It was clean and very well equipped (including wi-fi). A lot of cupboards and drawers and the kitchen had everything you need to make a nice dinner. And the garden was so beautiful! The location is very good if you like to discover Toscana by car. At our vacation the weather was very sunny and hot so we really appreciated the large pool with a lot of deckchairs and parasols. Paula is an excellent hostess. She is very nice and helpful. She welcomed us with a bottle of wine and she had put maps and guidebooks in the apartment. She gave us a lot of useful information like nice restaurants and shops in the area and best parking spaces in Florence. We hope to come back! Per with family
Over the years we have stayed in many beautiful villas and cottages in France and Spain, but nothing compares with this.Set in amazing countryside, within easy driving distance of Pisa, Lucca, Firenze and the coast, the property is full of charm and character with every conceivable amenity. The enormous garden is immaculately maintained with a gorgeous swimming pool and a great ' al fresco' catering area (a huge 'barbie!). Paola and Stephano are the friendliest and most helpful hosts you could wish to meet and Paola has some great tips on places to visit. If you like the countryside, great weather and Italian cuisine, truly friendly hosts and a place to relax an unwind, this is the place to be. Our only complaint is we didn't stay long enough: so we are returning in September for another slice of paradise. We would recommend the experience to everyone.
We are two couples who have just returned from a fortnight at Podere il Giurato, Fauglia. We booked it because it ticked all our boxes; two bedrooms with ensuites, a bbq, a pool and in an ideal position, half an hour from Pisa airport, but with good accesss to Lucca, San Gimignano, Florence, the coast - all at a very reasonable price. On arrival we realised it GREATLY EXCEEDED our expecations!
All our planning with Paola has been very easy. She speaks English fluently and even provided details of how to get to a supermarket on our way from the airport. She is a delightful lady, very professional but approachable. She was able to suggest some excellent restaurants and how to get to several interesting villages, which we would otherwise have missed out on. She provided excellent customer service; nothing was too much trouble. All the staff and family were very friendly.
The property itself is a two storey house with all the facilities we needed including SMEG oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, TV etc. The layout was as expected although roomier than the photos suggest. It was thoroughly clean and very well maintained. The staircase was stone, but it did have a cord rail so we soon got used to it. There were two tables for eating outside one at the front of the property and one at the back, so it was easy to ensure privacy from fellow visitors. The BBQ facility is excellent and the house provides a cool retreat from the outside heat.
We all agreed that the setting in the countryside was superb; set in an estate of fields, paddocks for horses and free access to walk the area. We drove into Fauglia for a couple of meals and the Collesalvetti supermarket provided an excellent choice of food. The pool was a very good size and the sunloungers etc first rate.
We had a relaxing and peaceful stay at Podere. It was always lovely to return there from our visits to Pisa, San Gimmiano, San Miniato, Livorno, Vada ,Torre del Lago and Lucca. (the bike ride round the walls, opera recital in the evening) The local countryside was beautiful as well and our trip to the hill top village of Lari was a treat.
There were many good restaurants around the area. We particularly enjoyed the fish/seafood restaurant Novello in Livorno, well worth the ride out.
Thanks Paola for your very welcoming hospitality. We would wholeheartedly recommend Podere il Giurato to friends & family.
We had a great holiday staying here. The owner, Paola was welcoming and helpful, pointing us in the direction of good restaurants, shops, etc - nothing was too much trouble.
The apartment was very clean and well equipped, especially the kitchen if you want to eat in. The children had great fun, using the pool daily.
The location puts many interesting sights within easy reach - Pisa, Lucca, Volterra with Florence and Siena just a little further.
I would recommend the property to friends and we hope to return
Paola greets you with enthusiasm and warmth and that tells you this is going to be a good experience. She shows you round the appartment, which is spotlessly clean and well maintained. There is plenty of good kitchen equipment and furniture, plus dining facilities indoors and two sets outside, front and back with a porch awning to provide extra shade.
The pool and sun loungers are in excellent condition, they look brand new! There is plenty of furniture for everyone. We spent many hours alone by the pool after our sight seeing.
The views are stunning and the horses magnificent.
Towns are within easy reach and also some lovely beaches.
If you want a club scene holiday this is not for you.
Paola greets you daily and didn't even get angry when we locked ourselves out for the second time, she just showed us where the spare key was kept and when she said,"my house is your house." You felt she meant it.
For me it was a beautiful place to spend time relaxing and I would highly recommend it to those who enjoy peace,a beautiful setting, local food and wine (of course).
Thank you paola for sharing your home. We will be back.
