The property is situated in the village of Gulval with church and pub, and bus service to the stunning picturesque fishing village of St Ives just 6 miles over the hill. It is close to spectacular beaches, cliffs and the rugged Cornish coastline. It benefits from being in short and easy level walking distance to Penzance town centre, railway station, bus terminal and Isles of Scilly ferry. Mounts bay, with its safe beaches, St Michael's Mount and coastal cycle path are quickly and easily accessible. 3 star rating from Cornish Tourist Board. Bed and Breakfast also available. We can arrange surfing lessons, fishing trips, boat and wildlife trips and much more.

The property is ideal for families, being so close to all local amenities, but still retains a traditional Cornish village atmosphere. This traditional granite cart house was built around 1895 and has been tastefully converted to a high standard. It will comfortably accommodate 5 people. In addition there is a bed settee in the living area. The kitchen is equipped with cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, washing machine and iron. Steps down to the open plan, light and airy living room with pine floor and dining area for 6. TV, video with a selection of books and childrens video tapes. French doors to sunny paved patio area with garden furniture and lighting suitable for BBQ's and sun bathing. Bedroom one: Twin or double bedded room. Bedroom two: Double, can also accommodate cot or single bed. Bedroom three. Single bed or cot. All bedrooms are carpeted. Bathroom with basin, WC and bath with shower over.

The property benefits from central heating.

Cot, high chair, bed guard are available on request at no extra charge. All linen provided including bath towels. Does not include beach towels. There is off road parking to the side of the house and unrestricted parking in the village. The local area is famous for many outdoor pursuits including surfing and wind surfing on spectacular beaches. Wonderful sea views and rugged coastline. Fishing, hiking, riding and cycling.

Lovely location close to all amenities

Characterful cottage in lovely location yet close to all amenities and shops etc. Off street parking a bonus in this crowded part of West Cornwall. No need to bring anything apart from food and clothes as everything else provided. We`ll be back

Well equipped, functional and spacious.

The Cart House interior does not exude old world charm and chic but it is very well equipped, functional and spacious, with two bedrooms plus a child's bedroom, and outside BBQ area with table and chairs. Located in the picturesque old part of Gulval village, close to the A30, supermarkets and Penzance. Double bed could be more comfortable.

Gulval church is of great historical interest and the surrounding countryside is popular with walkers. The quiet village pub serves excellent food and is child friendly. West Cornwall benefits from a mild year-round climate and sub-tropical plants and trees are abundant. The area is ideal for all sorts of water sports. Swimming,I surfing, windsurfing, riding, walking, fishing. Great beaches and beautiful countryside! We are beach lovers and are happy to arrange surfing lessons with our local surf school.
