Why Dana Sawyer chose Bridgton

Once I stood at the waters edge and saw the view, I purchased the property.

House was immaculate. Steam shower was great after a long day in the woods. Will be coming back next year.

Perfect weekend getaway home!

  • 4 of 5

Cabin is spacious and comfortable - has everything you need for a quiet getaway with spectacular views!! PROs: the VIEWS!, the pellet stove is efficient, easy to use, & keeps the cabin cozy, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, there are kitchen utensils/supplies, did I mention the views?!, and it is quiet and secluded. CONs: the road to get to the cabin is a little intimidating at first, especially in the dark and you have to go through a 'no trespassing/private road' sign which was confusing at first, and the outdoor lighting is a little dim.

Absolutely gorgeous Maine

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the house in Moose Pond for 3 days in October. I wish now we had stayed longer. Beautiful views and perfect photos of the pond in the fall. The home is comfortable and we were relaxed. The steam shower was perfect after an afternoon of hiking. The home offers everything you need for a home cooked meal. The pellet stove was great for the cool mornings and evenings.

Dana was very responsive and provided all the necessary information to make our stay outstanding.

The town has some great breakfast places like Beth's. The town in the fall is beautiful and quiet. We hope to return soon to enjoy the summer off the deck and a swim in the pond.

Fantastic lakeside property nestled in the woods of Maine

  • 5 of 5

I grew up spending summers in this wonderful in this beautiful area with just a few houses surrounded by miles of houses. Fog and loons on the lake followed by amazing blue sky and fall foliage. The bathroom is amazing with a heated floor and sauna. One word of caution, if you don't like air fresheners, you should let the owner know before hand, I am sure he would be glad to remove them for your stay.

Great stay at the Sawyer cottage!

  • 4 of 5

Dana - We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and couldn't have asked for more. We relaxed on the deck at the lake and outside in the evening at the fire pit. The cottage was very comfortable and cozy and with all the amenities, we did not have to bring anything more. The weather was perfect during the week we stayed which made for a beautiful setting on the lake. Thank you - Jeff and Val

Amazing Views

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sawyer cabin. The pictures of the views and the cabin are spot on which is not always the case when you rent from other home away renters. Went out in the canoe three times . The pond is crystal clear. Sat on the dock at night star gazing. Gas fire pit was great. The pellet stove worked great on one of the cooler nights. Would definitely rent from Dana again.
