The Coach House is situated on the A38 halfway between Gloucester and Tewkesbury, and about 5 miles west of Cheltenham. It provides an ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds, The Forest of Dean, or even the Wye Valley and beyond to the Welsh hills.
The barn has been very tastefully converted to provide an open plan living room/dining area and kitchen, with a galleried bedroom above. There is a shower room with basin and WC. It provides very comfortable accommodation for a couple, though downstairs there is a sofa bed if required.
The Leigh is an ancient village in the Severn Vale, and although The Coach House is on the main road, just on the opposite side of the road is a walk through the village - a most peaceful experience.
You will note some of the reviews mention traffic noise from the main road which can get busy especially during rush hour - please bear this in mind!
The Swan is a pub/restaurant a mile away, and other pubs/restaurants nearby include The New Dawn Inn on the A38 towards Gloucester, and The Red Lion, situated on the banks of the River Severn.
