It is one of the largest Greek communities outside of Greece and listed in the National Registry of Historic Places. Its yearly calendar is filled with Greek festivals, street dancing, music and events. Just a few minutes by boat will take you to the beautiful open water of the Gulf of Mexico, where you may visit Anclote Key and its famous lighthouse immortalized by singer Bertie Higgins! Here you can hike, snorkle, collect shells, visit the lighthouse or just relax on an island maintained in its pristine and natural condition. Tarpon Springs even has its own picturesque course where you can warm up!
Please note there is no safety fence around the pool area, and no fence around the home where it backs up to the water. Therefore, the property may not be suitable for small children and nonswimmers.
The home is located in a quiet, private island neighborhood in Tarpon Springs, approximately 25 minutes from the Suncoast Parkway, approximately 40 minutes from highway 75. St. Petersburg/Clearwater is about 30 minutes south and Tampa is about 40 minutes east. Orlando and the Disney vacation land is just a quick 1 1/2 hours east. Our home has a beautiful heated pool.
