Continue until you come to a turning on the left marked Bettiscombe and Marshwood, opposite the Berehayes Holiday Cottages. Take this left turn and Courthouse Farm is approximately 150 meters up this road on the left. Go into the yard and the Dairy on the right nearest the lane, parking is to the side of the house. The farmhouse is on the left through the double gates
When using Sat Nav put in Whitchurch Canonicorum via A35 otherwise you travel through lots of lanes.
We have been offering Self Catering holidays for nearly 30 years but have increased the amount in the past 10 years with converting some redundant barns. My eldest daughter and I now run our SC and B&B business together as well as helping out on the farm and doing the office work.
Mrs Sue Johnson purchased this farmhouse in 1995
The Dairy is a barn coversion was completed in 1995 from the old dairy and cattle shed at Courthouse Farm.
On converting we tried to keep the same window and door openings although some had to be made a little wider. We have kept the character with it being open plan with exposed beams where ever possible.
While working in the west Dorset area for a prolonged period of time, this has been the best place to stay, good location to where ever we was working, good accommodation for our needs, most importantly for us it was nice and warm and the beds where good for a goodnights sleep, simply put this became our home from home. Thanks Sue
