It is equipped with fine furnishings, modern appliances, and all other modern amenities needed for an enjoyable time in Lake Tahoe: a billiard table, outdoor hot tub, a jacuzzi bath, 3 fireplaces, and cable TV with home theater surround sound plus DVD movies and VHS Tape free to watch.
These conveniences and the great forest/mountain view allow for a way to relax after a day outdoors.
About Fred Miclat
My name is Fred Miclat and I own Blackfoot Lodge, a rental vacation house in South Lake Tahoe, California. I have been managing my own vacation rental house for over 11 years now. My only complaint for the vacation rental business is that I did not start it sooner as I really love it!
I personally take all the photos of my web site. I handle every aspect involved with rental management (for example; bookings, cleaning, maintenance, repairs, etc…). My most important goal is client's satisfaction.

What makes this chalet unique
- The billiard table, housed in the living room, easily converts in to a dining table
- Located on the back deck, the hot tub, which holds up to five people.
- Barbecue grill allowing for a large number of people for outdoor fun to cook, eat, sit and socialize with an ambience that gives a partial view of the Sierra Mountain and the forest below them.
- On the upper level, the master bedroom suite is very spacious and sleeps up to four people with its king sized bed and queen sized futon. It has its own bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, separate shower, and gas fireplace.
-The 2nd gas fireplace is available in the living room area and the 3rd gas fireplace is available in the lower level in one of the Suite Room.
-The kitchen with an island bar is equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops with spacious oak cabinets.
-Modern appliances, utensils, dinnerware, and glasswares.
- All rooms have Cable and Flat Screen TVs, phones (that allows unlimited local and long distance/domestic call- free of charge), and alarm clocks.

I have stayed at the Blackfoot Lodge four times - both in the summer and early fall and I have absolutely loved my experience staying here. The house was always very clean and is very beautiful. Everything works really well and the furniture is extemely comfortable. I love this place!

Our group was very impressed.
Loved how this house was split up. The whole common area fit our group with no problem. We will definitely be staying here again.
Fantastic!
Perfect location to Sierra at Tahoe with all the amenities. Had 5 families with kids age 4-13 staying and all had a wonderful time playing together in home and enjoying hot tub after full days skiing. We all had so much fun cooking family meals together and relaxing in the living room in evenings eating and playing board games. Enough room and good layout for families to not feel claustrophobic and have own space and feel comfortable to let kids play on own. Close to Lira’s market, gas stations and freeway.
Fred the owner is such a pleasure to work with and April the property manager responded within a day re: a fireplace issue we had not starting.
We made many lasting memories there and hope to stay there again!
Really nice home with all the ammenities
I was very impressed with this cabin. We had a very large group of family and had plenty of room for everyone. The bed I was in could use a upgrade though, but not a deal breaker. Loved the full stocked utensils and blenders etc. Made it very convienent. We had a great time in our 7 day vacation and enjoyed many bear/cub sightings from the cabin. About 5-10 min from beautiful beaches and 15 min from stateline. We will be back!!! Thanks

Great Vacation Getaway!
We spent about 3 nights and 3 nights at Blackfoot Lodge. There were 14 adults and 3 kids. The place was amazing. We loved every bit of our stay and the place was well equipped with everything. There was plenty of room for all of us. The location was also awesome(about 10-15 mins from Heavenly). The Hot tub was the highlight of our trip. All of us had so much fun utilizing the deck with the BBQ and the hot tub. I would recommend this place to everyone and I will book this place next time for sure. Fred(the owner) was awesome. He responded to all the questions pretty quickly and there was a local contact as well if needed. All in all a great experience.
