Very nice Beach View Studio located in Sandpiper Cove. Many Upgrades. Located only 100 yards from the beautiful Emerald Waters of Destin. Sleeps up to 5 (Queen size Murphy bed, Queen size sofa sleeper, Rollaway Twin). Kitchen includes all stainless appliances, stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and built in microwave. 2nd Flr unit with great views of the beach. Swimming pool and laundry right outside unit. Short walk to private beach with Pavillion, Snack bar, showers, and restrooms. Turnkey. Everything provided, linens, dishes, utensils, TV, VCR, and wired high speed internet and WIFI. Housecleaning upon check out.

This is a terrible experience in my entire life. I lost money and became sick. I once paid for full rental (one month and18 days plus deposit), but l only stay for 2 weeks because I can’t sleep from 24 hours noise of Gulf Shore Drive for every single day and night. The worst thing is that ower’s DISHONESTY !!! She knew her property situation but she wasn’t tell the truth when I ask about her condo is in quite area or not during l was inquiring online. Hopefully this owner would change her way to make money SO THAT it won’t hurts the next tenant !!!

Owner's Response: Be WARY of this renter. Problem from the minute she inquired. This lady asked if there were any noise complaints from neighbors. And in response to her question, she was told there were none and that most adjacent units were vacant in winter. There have never been noise complaints in 10 years of renting this unit to elderly individuals, retired veterans, families with or without children, and snowbirds from all over the country and Canada . I honored the order of her inquiry, although she took weeks to decide on the rental, going back and forth, quoting rates, re quoting rates, being confused about what rental she was inquiring about, so much so that I expressed my concern that she seemed very confused. By honoring the order of my inquiries, regardless of her indecision, I lost revenue and turned away 3 other guests. When she reported she was having some difficulty, I spent hours and days of my time assisting her in her quest to find a rental more suitable for her needs. I told her if I was able to find another renter I would issue a refund, but unfortunately, that did not happen. Although she was entitled to NO refund, out of courtesy for this lady, I refunded a portion of her Dec rent. Lost revenue to accommodate this guest. High maintenance, unreasonable, problem guest. Steer clear of this one.

Ocean view from the balcony and pool right out the front door. Very clean, will stay again...she let us add an extra day last minute...

Perfect spot for a family getaway!

This condo was perfect! It was very clean, the pool was right outside the unit, the private beach access was just across the street, it's in a great location and the owner is great to work with. Plan to return next year!!!

Needs repairs!

The AC said 68 degrees the entire time we were there but never really cooled down. The sliding doors for the balcony are almost impossible to open. When you try to open the blinds they do not work and the Windows have this frost stuff on them so you cannot see out. And there is no glass/screen door so you are basically stuck in the dark. We have stayed at sandpiper cove for over 20 years and this was our worse experience.

Owner's Response: It's unfortunate to see a guest take the time to post a negative review but not take the time to contact the owner to report their issues. Many of these issues could have been resolved with a phone call. After a season of guests, sand gets trapped in the sliding glass door and the door can come off the track. This could have been quickly resolved. Further, there are lights to the deck. The switch can be found behind the taller of the two dressers and the light illuminates the deck at night, and, there IS a sliding screen door. A phone call could have provided this guest with guidance and instructions, which could have gone a long way to rectifying these issues. There had been no cooling problems reported regarding the A/C, not by this guest, or those prior. In fact, prior guests left favorable reviews. If the air is cooling as it should when the unit is checked, it is very difficult to resolve any repair issues if their are no problems reported. As for the blinds, again no reports of problems. If this guest informed the owner, these standard sized plantation blinds could have quickly been replaced or repaired. It's ironic that prior guests leave positive reviews and this guest claims worst experience. I, myself, have stayed in many Sandpiper units, from studios, to 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units on the beach. I know for a fact that this unit stands above many in decor, cleanliness, and price. Every season there is normal wear and tear to vacation rentals and each year, at the end of the season, repairs take place. This year, like all prior, the unit will be gone through to address any issue that might inconvenience a future guest, and any repairs that are needed will be dealt with. Given the chance, I have made repairs for guests, however it's important that I'm informed, so I know what requires attention.

Many options for shopping include the Destin Commons and Silver Sands Outlet Malls within 5 miles. Fantastic golf courses surround the local area, as well as excellent restaurants. Deep sea fishing, pontoon rentals, snorkeling/scuba diving, and dolphin watching boat tours can be found in and around the Destin Harbor.
