3 Bedroom luxury villa with 2 bathrooms, sleeps 6

This is a wonderful villa on one of the largest plots in Shangrila Park, Playa Blanca. It is one of few with an official, legal tourist licence. A very large patio with covered pergola offers shade and privacy, with outdoor dining using the integrated barbecue. A second small patio with built-in Canary bench seat is outside the master bedroom. A secluded roof terrace provides a further private sun area with wonderful views to Montana Roja and across to Fuerteventura. Shangrila Park is a quiet community with one of largest pools on the island. A tennis court is available as well as a number of communal open 'play areas' on the complex.

This property has been freshly decorated by the owners, and includes access to free basic terrestrial Spanish TV (with some English & German channels), and wifi internet (also available via 42' internet/SMART TV). A second TV & DVD is wall mounted in the second bedroom. There is a wide selection of DVD and reading materials.

3 x adult bicycles and a selection of children's toys are provided for the use of guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, toaster and indoor and outdoor crockery.

All linen and towels are provided - local cleaning and maintenance contacts are on-site.

The nearest shops, bars and restaurants are a 10 minute walk away.

Late Arrivals can be accommodated by the on-site representative, and basic food provisions can be purchased at cost, and placed in the villa, if details are agreed in advance of arrival.

Normal entry time is 4pm, and normal departure time is 10am unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Brilliant, comfortable, clean home from home!

To start the communication with Graham was brilliant, he was always willing to answer my questions, the information provided a couple of weeks before check in was spot on, directions to the villa, access information, everything you could need was right there.

We arrived on the Sunday and after following the directions we arrived at the villa, the first impressions from my family was WOW, we had good fun exploring the villa, and the children enjoyed the roof terrace! The view from there was brilliant, and in the evening, although not warm enough to stay outside (it was February!) we enjoyed star gazing and lighthouse watching!

The bedrooms were good sized and the beds comfortable, everything was clean when we arrived. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and work space. The living space was also well proportioned and comfortable, the telly was great but we didn't watch much so can't say what channels were there, but the cartoons were good for keeping the children entertained, maybe if your with children take some dvd's with you!

We didn't find the villa information book until the day we left! Might of been handy if it was out on the table or something, but seriously nothing much extra in it than the information via the booking agent. The drive to playa Blanca was about 10min, great for shops and restaurants, beach wise we choose playa del carmen (mainly as it was excellent for snorkelling!)

but above all, this was a great, relaxing, clean and very comfortable villa for Our family and we will defiantly stay again if we come back to Lanzerote.

So the bad bit...you won't want to leave!

A great villa for a relaxing break

What a great house which is very private, therefore very quiet and providing a very relaxing break. We hired a car, which to get the most out of the area is best. The villa is very spacious and had everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked and there were plenty of towels. The area is very quiet, which was perfect for us, not overlooked at all. It was a 15 minute walk to pick up supplies, although the small shop on site had bread etc if needed. As we had a car we did our shopping further a field. The bus down to the town was a 10 min walk, this went twice an hour.

The accommodation is great, we were a party of 2 adults and 2 teenagers, we made use of the pool, the bikes and the tennis court.

Overall a great place to chill out, relax and enjoy the sun.

Very clean well presented property in a quiet location, it had everything we required.

Overall we were delighted with the location and the property in Montana Rojas Playa Blanca

We used the bikes and walked a lot on the promenade which ran for a couple of kilometres into Playa Blanca and past the lighthouse, there were plenty of good restaurants .

We loved having the little well stocked shop on site we got hot bread and croissants in the morning.

Transport was good with the bus & taxis were good value& easy to access.

We climbed the volcano behind there is a track all the way up.

Overall the holiday was v relaxing with good communication with Graham and his contact Robert who lives on the site.

I would certainly return & would reccommend the property.

Peaceful and well presented villa.

We had a lovely week with friends staying in this villa. It is in an ideal situation, with a few restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. There is also a handy shop by the pool 200yds away which sells fresh hot bread every day. The villa is only about a mile from the start of the resort of Playa Blanca where there is plenty to do and see, you can walk there or cycle as the villa has bikes to use.

The villa itself is well fitted out and clean and has everything you will need including TV etc. There is a large garden with shaded gazebo area and table and chairs for outdoor eating, also sunbeds and chairs in the large sunbathing patio. It is lovely and quiet here and if you want peaceful relaxation you would find it hard to better.

Must mention the wonderful local indian restaurant in nearby area, doesn`t look much but the food was the best i have eaten.

All in all great villa and location ***** hopefully we will return.

Shangrilla

A very well equipped and spacious property in a very relaxing location. Shared large pool is 1 minute away and included in the property is wifi smart TV and the use of several bikes. The local shop is well equipped and the nearby restaurants are exceptionally good. We had a car and driving around the island is very easy and hassle free. This villa is perfect if you want to retire away from the noise and relax. Highly recommend it and would go again.

Playa Blanca is in the South of the island and boasts a wonderful area of beaches, shops, dramatic scenery, restaurants, and bars. The town also boasts a new marina as well as the original port where you can reach Fuerteventura for a short day trip. Shangrila Park is on the edge of Playa Blanca next to Montana Roja and the town centre can be reached in 5 minutes by car, 10 minutes by local bus service, or 15 to 20 minutes by bicycle on the wonderful new promenade by the coast. Shangrila Park is a vehicle free community (free parking is provided on-site) with the only collection of Moroccan style detached single-storey villas and apartments on the island. Coffee shops, bars, supermarkets, buses and taxis can be accessed within 10 minutes walk but a car is the best way to explore the whole of this wonderful island during your stay. Residents and visitors of Shangrila Park can enjoy free access to tennis courts, open communal play areas, and large pool and an on-site mini market shop.

Other Activities: a new water park is open, easily accessible by the bus service or a round a 20 minute walk from the house.

Golf: There are two golf courses already on Lanzarote with a third under construction nearby in Playa Blanca. A day trip to Fuerteventura by ferry from Playa Blanca provides another option for a day's golf.

Freshly decorated by the owners, it includes access to free basic local Terrestrial TV and wifi / internet access. There is a wide selection of DVD and reading materials, and a bluetooth music & DVD player. 4 x adult bicycles and a selection of children's toys are provided for the use of guests. 4 x Sun loungers with cushions are provided on the large tiled terrace & a further small patio with bench seat outside the master bedroom, plusa secluded separate roof terrace. A large table with 6 seats under the pergola provides a shaded outdoor area for breakfast and lunch, and a cool brightly lit area for dinner. An additional table with chairs provides another informal dining area just outside the entrance, or for use on the small patio. An outdoor chimney barbecue is accessed from the main patio / pergola area. This villa is licensed to accept holiday letting.
