Romantic stone house (30 sqm) surrounded by a pergola, which allows you to live in the green countryside completely isolated from other apartments. The house overlooks a wonderful panorama, which owes its name.
The building has a double bedroom with a tiled fireplace and a bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. On the back a veranda with kitchen, stove, oven and a small fridge.
Because of its size, the apartment lives on the outside where, under a covered veranda and a strawberry grape pergola, there is a living-dining room surrounded by greenery, with a sofa and armchairs, a table with benches and an oven-fireplace for the barbecue. All around a wood with ancient trees.
The farm of Peruzzo is the fulcrum of the ancient Tenuta di Peruzzo which, starting from the plain, extends between vineyards, olive groves, cork oak woods and Mediterranean scrubland among the castles of Montemassi, Roccatederighi and Sassofortino. Located 300 meters above sea level, which appears in front of it with the outline of the island of Giglio, it dominates the plain below, extending for a surface of about 500 hectares in a natural environment still intact and uncontaminated. In Peruzzo you can spend a quiet holiday, relax in the swimming pool or read in the garden under the shade of pergolas and plants, or take scenic nature trails, on foot, by bike or on horseback.
Guests are reserved part of the ancient farm, surrounded by a large park, and just upstream, immersed in the shade of the forest, four farmhouses divided into recently renovated apartments. The buildings, built in the nineteenth century in stone and terracotta, maintain the typical characteristics of the Tuscan farmhouses and the traditional furnishing of the country houses, partly from the family furniture. The apartments, which can accommodate from 2 to 8 people, are independent and equipped with every comfort. Each overlooks a private garden, with ever green, irrigated and shaved lawns, centenary trees and flowering bushes in all seasons. Two horses live in the enclosures: the Maremma cows, an Amiata donkey and deer, fallow deer, mouflons, roe deer and wild boar. In the aviaries there are turtledoves and various species of birds.
The sea is not far and so are the many places of artistic, archaeological and naturalistic interest of which the Maremma is rich. The most famous tourist destinations, such as Siena, Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, Montalcino, Pienza and even Rome, can be reached in one day.
