Housed in a historic building in the centre of Rethymnos Old Town, Loggia Home is a fully renovated house originally built in the early 20th century which seamlessly blends the old with the new with an eclectic mix of modern fixtures and appliances, wooden ceilings and generous amounts of natural light.

Take advantage of the location and explore the historical district of Rethymno old town, discover the unique day and night life of the area and at the same time be only a few minutes walking distance from the most famous beach in central Crete, the long sandy beach of Rethymno.

The 105 sq. m house is located in the heart of the old town of Rethymno which is one of the most convenient location in the town, being within walking distances to everything. It can accommodate 4 people in beds and up to 6 people if it is necessary.

Indoor layout

Entering the main gate and enter the house on the ground floor, there is a staircase which leads to the first floor. Reaching the first floor, there is an open plan area consisting of living room, dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with top quality fixtures and appliances. The living room area contains a large sofa, a 40" satellite HDTV with Netflix possibility and a desk. Additionally this area opens to a balcony with a coffee table and chairs. There is also a bathroom with bath and shower and a washing machine on the same floor.

Reaching to the second floor through a staircase, there is a hall that has a small fridge which offers an additional comfort to the guests. Two bedrooms are located on the second floor, one of the bedroom has a king size bed and the other one has 2 single bed which also can be transformed to be a double one if needed. Both rooms have 32" HDTV, air-conditioning and a closet. Additionally a toilet is found on the same floor.

Rooftop terrace

The rooftop terrace is fully furnished and equipped and you can seamlessly enjoy your meals and drinks, the panoramic views of the old town, the Neratze mosque and the mountain of Psiloritis.

The apartment is located at the heart of the Old Town of Rethymno, within walking distance to the long sandy beach of Rethymno, which is organised and offers many beach bars.

Prime location in the heart of Rethymno
Good communication with the property managers, they also organised our transfer taxis, and a reservation at a beach resort which was great. The property itself is lovely, clean and everything you could need for your stay. We didn't use the cooker preferring to eat out, so we only used the kettle and toaster, but there was even a toastie machine in the cupboard. We loved the balcony on the main living space for watching the busy street below. It became our morning spot to watch the sun rise with coffee and toast and of an evening with a glass of wine watching the street buzz with people milling about. Beds are comfy and plenty of storage for your clothes. There was even bottled water and Raki, along with fresh fruit, in the fridge. Location is absolutely spot on, right in the middle of old town, shops, bars, restaurants all right there on your doorstep with the harbour literally a couple of minutes walk away. The private roof terrace was a great spot to relax in the sun, it was so quiet and peaceful up there! Sunloungers, table and chairs and bbq all available to use on the roof. We found the house a little tricky to find from where the taxi dropped us but once I had a landmark I called them and the lady came out to meet us where we waited. Would highly recommend and in fact I've just shared the details with a friend which I think speaks volumes about our stay.

Great property in the centre of town
The property was clean, smart and presented to a very high standard. The owner and managing agent were very attentive and were genuinely keen to ensure that our stay was the best that it could be. We made great use of the roof terrace and front balcony when the sun was out and when the clouds came the perfect location of the property meant that shopping, bars and restaurants were very close at hand. All in all we had a great time in Rythamno.

Great property in centre of old town
If you are looking for a property with everything “on the doorstep”, then this is for you. Restaurants, tavernas and shops are all immediately available, as it is right in the heart of the charming old town. The harbour is only a few minutes’ walk, and can be seen from the roof terrace. The property is well maintained, and the family and management company, Etouri, could not be more helpful. The choice of balconies and sunny roof terrace, with 360 degree views, are the icing on the cake. This was our second visit, and once again we were sorry to leave.

Perfect house in perfect location
After 4 months of working from home, a fortnight in Loggia Home was exactly what we needed. The property couldn’t be more central, surrounded by excellent places to eat and shop. It is a beautiful house with great facilities, especially the roof terrace and balconies (if you can cope with the spiral staircase up to the roof - worth the shaky knees in my case!). The bedrooms are spacious with plenty storage and the living space and kitchen very comfortable. The management company is attentive if you need anything and the owner is lovely! We’ve never felt so welcome. Rethymno is a great place for a holiday, particularly if like us you don’t drive. Look forward to returning one day.
