A spacious 2 bed flat with an ensuite, in a quiet leafy residential development in Zone 2, next to Thames. The place is tastefully decorated, furnished & fitted with a new kitchen.

It has well-connected transport links from East India DLR station (3mins walk away) to O2 (2 train stops away), ExCeL (3 train stops away), Canary Wharf (10mins walk or 3 train stops away) & Westfield Stratford (15mins train ride). On-site, there's a playground, local grocery store & free parking just outside the flat.

The flat has been tastefully decorated and furnished as well as refitted with a kitchen and new washer/dryer. It has a wooden floor throughout with tiles in kitchen and bathrooms. It has an ensuite room with king size bed, a twin room, a family bathroom with shower and a spacious living room with a sofa bed that can sleep two adults. Rooms are recently fitted with black-out window blinds. It also has a baby cot, if you need it. The flat is airy and well-lit with a Juliet balcony and a large window in each of the bedrooms.

If car park is needed, it is possible for guest to obtain free parking permits to park on the premises.

The flat is located in Virginia Quay development which is a leafy residential place just next to the Thames and an area reserves as a bird sanctuary. It has a 24 hour concierge service on-site, a children's playground and a small football / basketball court. There's also a local grocery shop (Nisa) that is opened 7 days a week!

The closest station is the East India DLR station which is just 3 minutes walk away. It has both lifts and escalators. It connects conveniently to the O2 (2 stops on the DLR) and ExCeL centre (1 stop on DLR and 1 stop on Jubilee line).

For the shoppers and diners, Canary Wharf is only 10-15 minutes walk or 2 stops away on the DLR, while Westfield Stratford shopping centre is about 15 minutes away by train. For the good ol' Oxford street, it is about 30 minutes away by train.

A scenic journey into central London (with minimal walking too) is by taking DLR into Royal Victoria, then take the Emirates cable car to O2 (North Greenwich). From O2, take the Thames clipper into central London while passing through sites like the Cutty Sark in Greenwich, Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, London Eye and Westminster.

=> Getting Around <=

If you are travelling by car, it is possible to obtain a parking permit for the duration of the stay. Please inform us prior to arrival if this is required.

East India DLR station is just 3 mins walk from the flat. The DLR service runs to Tower Gateway or Bank which connects to the London underground network via District/Circle Line or Central Line, respectively. The DLR also runs to Canning Town where the Jubilee Line connects to London Bridge, Westminster, Bond Street and towards Wembley.

The great thing about DLR is that it runs from 5.30am till 1am Mon-Sat and 7am till midnight on Sun and the trains are very frequent.

For those interested in cycling, there is a Bike hire station just outside East India DLR station which is 3 mins walk from the flat.

London City airport is only 9 minutes away via DLR (4 stops). Gatwick takes about an hour while Heathrow about 1.5 hours by train. For Stansted, you can take a coach from Stratford or by train and underground in around 1.5 hours.

We ensure all touch areas are wiped down especially so with high frequency areas such as knobs, handles, worktops, buttons and switches. We provide sanitising hand gel and antibacterial wipes in the property too. We have a 1 day gap between stays to ensure residual germs are diminished naturally. All linens and towels are washed at 60 degrees Celsius and above.

Light and airy flat with excellent transport links
Stayed here for a long weekend to take part in ride London. I was greeted by the owner who was extremely helpful and welcoming. the flat was spotless, plenty big enough for my family of five and had decent free parking. Only a 2 minute walk to the DLR and only 2 or 3 stops from canary wharf, the flat is ideally suited for business or pleasure trips. Highly recommended.

Well Kept Property In Convenient Area
We were very pleased with this property as it was very comfortable and well placed for the underground and DLR. Both bathrooms had power showers which worked well and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was new and well equipped. The apartment was very clean and the owner was very efficient and even contacted us to make sure that everything was in order.

Lovely place for exploring east and central London
I would definitely recommend this place. My wife, two daughters (aged 4 and 2) and I had the pleasure to stay in this flat for 3 nights. It is exactly as advertised. Things we especially liked: free parking is available; the neighborhood is quiet and child friendly; the flat comfortably fitted the four of us (a cot is available); and it is close to a super market and to the DLR. The DLR is connected to the Underground, and Waterloo station can be reached within half an hour. We also enjoyed the close-by cable car across the Thames! In addition, the communication with the host is excellent. The cleanliness, especially of the floors, is something that could be improved, although the overall state was ok (and a vacuum cleaner is available).

Just basic enough to get by
Overall the location is fine, decent host, nothing else to clamor about. Visited as family with two boys 10 and 16. Good stuff - Wi-Fi, shower (one of them), space and the two bathrooms / bedrooms was a bonus. (Big reason for renting this). Host was a good communicator. Can be a lot better - needs cleaner towels, needs pillow cases, cleaner curtains , beat up couch, broken night stand with ripped off siding (hazard! ) - do nothing fancy, it’s a get by place. My honest opinion was wow how did I get into this! May be totally different for someone else. Have definitely seen better offerings.

Extremely accurate description of the property!
We had an enjoyable weekend at this flat near Canary Wharf. Everything was exactly as described on the listing and the photos reflected the space and amenities. The host was in touch to confirm check-in process, ensure we settled in comfortably, answer our questions and prepare for our departure. Additional information was contained at the flat about things to do and where to eat in the area. the Nisa Extra provided us with snacks, beverages and light breakfast. The East India DLR made it easy to get around, albeit a bit further out than anticipated but still easy to get around and Ubers close at hand. Great place to stay!

We used to travel a bit but that's before we have our two beautiful children. The places we love are like Iceland, Berlin, Hong Kong, Paris, Venice, Budapest and Spain. But now, it's usually the more kids-friendly type of travel :)

Why they chose this property

This flat is special to us as it is where we lived when we got married and have our little family. We got this place initially as it has superb transport connections to city centre and at the same time being a quiet residential place, a rare combination in London these days.

We do host our lovely flat and if you are planning to stay there, then we hope you enjoy it as much as we did. The location is superb in terms of access and convenience ;)
