Great location, authentic French apartment

Really enjoyed staying here, a 'proper' French apartment. Useful recommendations for the markets, boulangeries, restaurants. Location is outside the main 'touristy' areas yet in easy walking distance of Nice-Ville station, tram and bus. Quiet, well equipped, would stay again.

Ideal base for exploring Nice and beyond.

This is a lovely apartment, ideal for 2 adults and well-equipped with everything you might need. It is less than 10 minutes walk to the mainline railway station (Nice Ville), tram and bus stops. It is possible to catch a bus direct to/from the airport. There are several local boulangeries and small supermarkets, as well as cafes and restaurants. The apartment is also within walking distance of the Old Town and seafront. The owner is very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

A good base for seeing Nice and the Cote D'Azur

We were arriving late and due to delays, we were REALLY late. The owner's friend was waiting for us and it was like we weren't late at all. Very gracious. Location is great. A 5 minute walk, just past the top of the road brings you to the tram that takes you to the tourist heart of Nice and the main line train is a further 2 minutes walk away. The '99' bus stops outside the station and takes you to/ from the airport for a few quid. The flat itself is mostly good. Plenty of room, 2 sofas, washing machine, dishwasher, etc. Air con is by the front door, but kept the whole apartment cool. Simple and pleasant decor. There were only 2 real negatives. The bed is the first. It's super saggy, which made my old bones ache a little by the morning. The second is the shower. It is only enclosed on 3 sides. There's a good array of tools to clear the inevitable spills, but a shower door would have been better. It's really a 5* place for the money, but these 2 issues marred an otherwise great experience. I do recommend this property, as it's great for the price, close to everything and a great space to hang out in.

Great apartment and great location

Just spent a week at Colette Marie's lovely apartment in Nice and I would highly recommend it. The apartment is tastefully furnished, very spacious, comfortable and very bright. My travelling companion slept in the main bedroom and I slept in the pull down bed in the living room. We both found the beds comfortable. The apartment has everything you would need to enjoy your stay - kitchen utensils, stove top cooker, fridge, well stocked cupboards, kettle etc. The apartment is very well situated with many shops and restaurants in the nearby vicinity. There is a Carrefour City supermarket about 5 minutes walk from the apartment. If you turn to the left when you come out of the apartment and then head down to the right, you'll find it. The train station is also only around an 8 minute walk from the apartment and it's easy to get down to the main shopping area with all the large department stores, Place Massena and the old town. Colette Marie was very quick to respond by email to any questions I had, so was an excellent and friendly host. If I return to Nice I would definitely request to stay at this apartment again. We had a fantastic holiday, so once again, I have to say thank you to Colette Marie for letting us stay at her lovely apartment.
