From Prato della Valle you can reach via Roma the wonderful squares that characterize the historic center and the famous arcades of the city.

Great location

Very clean, close to grocery, market, pastry shop. Great for excursions outside the city such as Venice. Plus! The basilica! This cozy place had everything we needed in a place to stay! Lived it! Thank you for everything!

Idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Region Venetien

Herzlicher Empfang durch die Vermieterin mit einem frisch gebrühten Mocca und allem was man für das 1. Frühstück benötigt - was aber gar nicht so nötig ist, denn in der Nähe gibt es das neue Cafe Pasticceria Biasetto (via Facciolati 12) mit Gebäck für das Frühstück, Törtchen für den Nachmittag, .... in sehr schönem Ambiente. Unbedingt die Veneziana probieren! Die FeWo ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Padua selbst, für Chioggia (von dort kann man auch mit dem Schiff einen Tagesausflug nach Venedig machen), für Verona, den südlichen Gardasee und Vicenza. Auch Ferrara (Emilia Romagna) ist nicht weit und sehr sehenswert! Und das Beste: neben der FeWo gibt es einen dazugehörigen Parkplatz, so dass die lästige Parkplatzsuche beim Heimkommen entfällt. Für Kunst-und Kulturbegeisterte ideal, aber wer shoppen möchte kommt auch auf seine Kosten. Noch 2 Tipps für leckeres Essen in Padua: "Bar dei Osei", Piazza dei Frutti, mit belegten Brötchen und Tramezzini, ideal für einen Imbiss und das Restaurant "Nane della Giulia" mit sehr nettem Personal und Spezialitäten der Region auf der handgeschriebenen Speisekarte in schönem rustikalen Ambiente, Via Santa Sofia 1. Einziger Wermutstropfen: einige Stellen im Haus, bes. in der Küche, sind sehr ramponiert und auf das Internet mussten wir bis zum 1. des neuen Monats warten, da es bereits aufgebraucht war. Dafür gibt es eine Klimaanlage die Ende Mai wirklich nötig war.
