This apartment for up to 5 people is on the first floor. It has a double bedroom with king-size bed, a twin room and a large living room with a settee-bed. In the living room there is a digital TV and a combined DVD/CD/MP3 player. There is a fully equipped kitchen dining room, and an attractive loggia with table and seating for 6 people and beautiful valley views. The bathroom includes a bath with shower, handbasin, bidet and WC.
There is underfloor heating, and free-standing fans for summer use. The floors have been tiled throughout with traditional handmade tiles and the apartment features exposed beams and vaulted ceilings in every room.
In the garden there is a gazebo and a summer house near to the pool with a shower and toilet.
This recently restored farmhouse is located just outside the town of Loro Piceno with its local speciality 'vino cotto' wine industry. It is set in 15 acres of our own farmland including vines, olive trees, and fruit and nut trees. South-facing, it enjoys panoramic views over the rolling countryside.
The accommodation offers 2 apartments, the first floor one sleeping 5 in a double bed, 2 single beds and a comfortable divan-bed in the living room. The first-floor apartment has a covered veranda. The ground floor one has a double bedroom and one with 3 single beds. Both have a large farmhouse kitchen/dining room and either a bathroom or shower room.
Outside there is an internally illuminated 6 x 12 metre private swimming pool that is in view of both apartments. Outdoor lighting has been installed in the garden and there is plenty of parking for all visitors.
Summer House: Loro Piceno is a mile away and has a full range of facilities including 3 churches, 2 supermarkets, a petrol station, 2 banks, pizzeria, 3 cafes and 3 good restaurants. There are also 2 bakeries, 2 butchers, ice cream parlour, hairdresser, florist and a weekly market (Mondays).
Within the garden there is a summer house close to our internally illuminated swimming pool - vey chic!. The building includes power points, a shower and toilet, and outside there is an illuminated patio area overlooking the pool where barbecues can be held.
The whole garden can be illuminated in sections to produce a relaxing ambience in the evenings.
Activities: The seductive Adriatic coast with its safe and inviting sandy/shingle beaches is but a 40 minute drive away. All forms of watersports are possible including swimming, skiing, sailing and windsurfing. For freshwater swimming Lake Fiastra is not far away in the foothills of the Sibillini mountains.
Paragliding (local school) outside Sarnano, horse riding, hill walking, mountain biking (hire/guides at Amandola with Sibillini Cycling), and water sports are available locally.
The resorts of Porto San Giorgio, Grottamare and Monte Conero with its nature reserve are all within easy driving distance. The coastal towns are renowned for their excellint seafood restaurants.
Activities: There is an excellent championship golf course about 60 minutes away at Numana, near Monte Conero, and a driving range nearer home, near Abbadia Fiastra.
Simple skiing facilities are available in the Sibillini mountains at Sarnano-Sassotetto, about 20 minutes away. This is not a sophisticated resort, but it offers well-organised family skiing opportunities with a wide range of grades on 9 pistes. Snow usually holds from December through to April.
Hot air ballon trips can be organised on request with Balloon Italy for a fantastic flight over the rolling countryside, and now we can arrange short courses on bushcraft and survival skills as well as truffle hunting and cooking.
Macerata Opera and Music Festival, held in the open air in a grand 2nd Century ampitheatre known as the Sferesterio from the middle of July to the beginning of August - second only to Verona in terms of importance.
Also visit the up-and-coming Colmurano music festival normally held in the middle of July.
Judith and I live in Derbyshire and have had a lifetime love of and interest in Italy, its traditions and culture. When we discovered the region we realised that it represented a way of life that was untarnished by tourism yet readily accessible and with much to offer to holiday makers with many different interests.
We love every minute when we have the opportunity to stay there and hope that all our guests will feel the same way about it and want to come back again and again.

This is a lovely place to stay for two families of up to 5 people, with plenty of space inside and out. It is not directly overlooked and has a large garden for relaxation with an exceptionally lovely pool and super views. The nearby town of Loro Piceno provides everything you need for stay, and there is no need to go beyond the town if you don't want to explore the surrounding area but just want to put your feet up.
We fell in love with what was a semi-derelict farmhouse in the countryside of Le Marche and knew it could be turned into a place of beauty and tranquility. And so it proved to be. Set against a backdrop of our own vines and olives the restored farmhouses and pool nestles unobtrusively into the landscape.
It's sunny south-facing aspect gives beautiful views over the countryside and is not directly overlooked because we have no immediate neighbours. Here you have an opportunity to escape the rat-race of modern life yet all the facilities you need for an enjoyable holiday are on your doorstep in Loro Piceno village.

idyllisch und ruhig gelegen mit postkartenausblick. wohnung sehr gepflegt und stilvoll restauriert. sehr gut ausgestattet. alle nötigen infos per email vom vermieter direkt erhalten. schöner pool. ausreichend infos über lokale möglichkeiten in der wohnung vorhanden mit empfehlungen anderer urlaubsgäste. hoher erholungswert. interessante umgebung mit meer und bergen innerhalb 30 min erreichbar. im ort alle einkaufsmöglichkeiten vorhanden. würden jederzeit wieder hingehen.
