Set in a small hamlet 3 km from the village of Varaignes, with its shops and restaurants, Chez Marot is a one-bedroom holiday home with a small garden and 2 terraces. Free WiFi is available throughout.

This all makes for a relaxing break in the peace and quiet of the Dordogne countryside, with its quiet lanes ideal for walking and cycling.

Lovely gite, at an excellent price

A clean and well equipped gite, in a traditional style. It is located in a beautiful rural location. Our host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. It it was excellent value. Our only criticism is that the bathroom would benefit from some updating.

Comfortable, relaxing, but above all peaceful

The property is exactly as described and suited our needs perfectly. There is always a shady area to be found and, inside, the house is very comfortable also. There are some issues currently with broadband, but this was of little consequence for us. Bobby lives in an adjoining property and whilst he was always available and helpful, he was not at all intrusive. We would highly recommend this property.
