Our two-bedroom seaside house is smoke and pet-free, nestled on a tranquil street just a short stroll from the stunning south-facing Newbiggin Bay on the Northumberland coast.

Our 'Bolt Hole by the Beach' is a wonderful retreat for families and friends to unwind and reset by the sea. It accommodates up to five guests; however, please ensure our bedding arrangements meet your needs. The master bedroom features a standard-sized double bed, while our family bedroom boasts a triple bunk—standard double below with a single above. The space is spectrum-friendly, equipped with window locks, blackout curtains, a stair gate, a bed rail, tactile sea creatures, toys, games, a collection of fidget and click items, and an enchanting 'under the ocean' sensory room projector. Hidden away, you'll discover a travel cot, a children's guest bed, and a junior ready bed, catering to all age groups. Additionally, there's a ground-floor sofa bed for one.

The lounge sports a simple decor with modern panelling, high-quality, comfortable furnishings, and a Google SMART TV complete with Netflix, YouTube, etc. Our reliable fibre broadband ensures you stay connected with complimentary WIFI, allowing you to snuggle under a cosy throw and keep up with the world or indulge in your favourite series, all while being moments away from refreshing beach walks.

Perfect stay

Firstly we had a great stay, everything was perfect, the children loved to pirate themed room. It was a shame we didnt get to spend more time here as we used it to sleep and change to much tto do and see. The bad part now. we left everything as found, the host claims we left spill damage all over the place and has to have everything upholstered, they provided photos as evidence of the damage which is a joke. Non of said evidence was present when we left. We are honest people if we left any damage i would of contacted the host immediately to inform them. Absolute shame at the behaviour ofmthe host was such a nice place to stay. They also claim to have contacted us about this but the only message i received was from vrbo saying we are being charged a damage fee. What a shame

Third visit says it all

This house is outstanding. Elaine caters for everyone especially children and as we know when the kids are happy the adults can relax. We have stayed for the third time last weekend , it is such a central area with a beach minutes away also. We will be back certainly.

Amazing late summer break by the beach

This property is perfect for a break on the Northumberland coast. The location. is ideal - so near the beach and Elaine has thought of absolutely everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would highly recommend and would certainly stay again.

Back Again

Obviously we rated the accomodation very highly as we returned for a second visit within 6 months. The house is well situated 43seconds from the sea. Counted by my husband and grandson. Very well equipped, Elaine has thought of everything. The second bedroom was a delight for my grandson and us with a pirate theme and toys. Newbiggin is a nice town with an extensive beach and walking areas. We will return.

Great Property

We stayed at the property for two days while sight seeing in the north east on our way back to the south of England from Edinburgh. The property was immaculate and Elaine was a fantastic host. It is particularly good for families with small children as Elaine has thought of and provided everything they could need.
