Clean, quality, comfy, close to M3-Farnham road,
We spent three nights at Eglantine. It was a good experience to add to a happy family baptism. Eglantine did not disappoint.

We stayed at another property owned by the same person. It was a similar cottage just across the road. Lovely traditional oak beamed cottage with a new, modern kitchen and bathroom. It had everything we needed in a lovely village...and next door to the pub!

Hi I'm Julie, I live just 10 minutes away from the Cottage, originally born and bred in South Wales, I left for London when I was 19 and have lived in London and the South East ever since.
My passion is refurbishing property, I have been in the hospitality and property business most of my working life.

Why they chose this property

When I first saw the Village of Crondall I fell in love with the area, the fact there are 2 good food pubs in the Village and a great Village shop/post office, selling all the essentials and more. Also being only 10 minute drive to Farnham - When I saw the cottage for sale and viewed I loved it :-) although it needed a lot of work I undertook the project and have now been inviting guests for the past year.

What makes this property unique

The cuteness of brick built cottages of this age with the low tiled roof and wonkiness of the building, that it has survived for 300 years, the beams inside would have come from old ships so are even older than the cottage. It is cosy and warm in the Winter and in all seasons the garden is beautiful, particularly Spring and Summer when one can sit outside enjoying uninterrupted views seeing and listening to bird song.
