Fully furnished, self catering optional with 2 TVs, air conditioning, full kitchen with appliances including fridge, cooker hob and washing machine. Open plan living area, dining table and 4 chairs, sofa (not a sofa bed), french windows on to large balcony. Bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, master bedroom has double bed and a TV. Main bathroom has bath, basin, shower, toilet and the washroom has a shower, basin and toilet. The balcony has a table and 4 chairs. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and a fitted wardrobe.
The recently renovated resort has several free pools and leads down to the clean sandy beech. There was free live music and dancing in the evenings, it ends around midnight. The resort has bars and restaurants which are not free, or guests could do self catering, with a small supermarket in the next resort Villa Verde and a medium sized supermarket and small shops in Santa Maria, a 5 minute cheap taxi ride away.

A very nice spacious apartment, very well equiped and in a convienient location to reception and bar

We chose to be self catering as we like the flexibility this gives. however obtaining provisions is not easy with only two supermarkets in the Island. One thankfully was within walking distance of our apartment. St Maria was a 4 Euro ride away with plenty of places to eat at a range of prices, but generally not cheap. Tortuga itself is a well laid out resort with two good sized pools, one quiet and one with activities. it also has two kiddies pools all were well maintained. Access to the beach is though the resort and takes about 10 mins from reception. There are two lagoon areas where there are no rocks and the swimming is good and safe both of these are within easy reach. On balance a good stay.

Perfect for family!

We have stayed in this apartment with our children 13 and 1,5 years old. The apartment gave us a lot of space and was very comfortable. We've got exactly what we saw in the photos. There was everything for eating and cooking in the kitchen: a lot of cups, plates, pots, frying pans, cutlery and so on. There is a washing machine too. It was very important for my family's holiday, because of baby and self catering. Beddings, towels, bathrooms, kitchen - everything was clean and tidy. The apartment has very well location inside the 5-star resort , right next to the reception, so we was using free-WiFi from reception sitting on our sofa. ;) At the same time it is just a 2-3 minutes walk to the sandy beaches (hotel's beach with sunbeds and waves and free Bikini beach with calm water for swimmers, google it). There is a local supermarket at Vila Verde Resort opposite from main entrance, 3 minutes walk, that we found more "eatable" than Cozu-supermarket in Santa Maria. There is a lot of restaurants around too :) Our communication with the owner was perfect, he answered all our questions quickly and with helpful details. The weather in February was warm, the personal very friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming. We have had a very good vacation. It was a pleasure to stay there. We recommend this place!

Il proprietario risponde sempre velocemente alle email. La casa è grande e luminosa, dotata di tutti i comfort e molto pulita. Il resort è attrezzato e ben pulito, ottimi servizi (piscina e spiaggia), bella l'animazione anche per i bambini. Dista 5 minuti di taxi da Santa Maria e circa 15/20 minuti dall'aeroporto. Tutto perfetto.

Great apartment in Sal for sea and relaxation

The apartment is very spacious and really comfortable. It is exactly as you see it in the photos, practically new. Very well located inside the resort, right next to the reception and some of the restaurants. At the same time it is just a very short walk to the beach, which is beautiful. Our communication with the owner was excellent, he made sure all our questions were resolved and gave sound advice. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and soak the sun or take this opportunity for some sea-related sports like all kinds of surfing or snorkelling.
