Great apartment in a perfect location

We can't say enough about this fantastic apartment. For starters, the location cannot be beat. It is literally right around the corner from the Covent Garden Underground station, and a very short stroll to Covent Garden Market. Leicester Square and its many theatres were also a short walk away. There is no shortage of great local restaurants and pubs. The apartment's close proximity to the tube made our sightseeing and museum outings that much easier. Alex was a perfect host. Our one request was met immediately. The apartment itself is clean and well-stocked, and the beds are comfortable. Aside from some occasional early morning street noise audible from the front bedroom (the one with the en suite bathroom), the apartment was quiet. The WiFi worked well, much to the delight of the younger members of our party. We hope to be able to rent this apartment again the next time we're in London.

Location, location, location!

If you are looking for a comfortable, well-furnished, and roomy flat in a convenient location hosted by someone with excellent communication skills, look no further. Alex's place is in the middle of Covent Garden, literally around the corner from a tube station on the Piccadilly Line (thus no transfers when coming in from Heathrow). Every major attraction is walking distance. Shopping, theaters, restaurants, pubs, museums, are all in the area. A Tesco grocery is nearby. My adult stepdaughters, first-timers to London and not adventurous with transportation, walked many places. My husband and I, more familiar with London and more adventurous, walked and used the tube.

If you need your drip coffee in the morning, familiarize yourself with a French Press as there is no coffee maker, but instead a nice Breville kettle and French Press which will make superior coffee than a Mr. Coffee anyway. There is a Nespresso if you prefer espresso. Also, if you plan to do laundry, keep in mind the washer and dryer are one unit, so allow plenty of time. The wifi was occasionally slow and went out once (I reset the modem and it was fine), but this was minor and doesn't prevent me from giving this 5 stars. There are stairs: one flight up to the flat, another flight immediately inside the door, then a flight up to the bedrooms. And of course, another flight to the rooftop. I enjoyed it as the stair climbing and walking replaced our normal workouts. But it is something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues.

Alex communicated everything we needed to know effectively and timely. I never felt anxious for lack of information from booking to departure. I highly recommend renting from him.

Perfect location, Clean, spacious, quiet

We booked this apartment for four adult women. The location right around the corner from Covent Garden was perfect. Easy tube ride to and from Heathrow and very easy to walk to all major attractions in the city centre. The apartment was clean, bright, uncluttered and spacious. The owner was accommodating of our early arrival. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable European sized king beds. It was nice to have the bedrooms on a different floor. The street was quiet by inner city London standards (some noise but not much). We would certainly recommend this apartment.

Great location to get everywhere by foot or tube. No problems with arrival, departure, communication. Apartment equipped with everything we needed to enjoy a week in London. Owner responded immediately when we had Wi-Fi access issue. All good!

Great location and the apartment was very nice and cleane lovely kitchen and best off all was the rooftop, this was my 4. Time in London and by far the best one and the main reason is the location and this apartment. Alex and his friend are friendly and helpful:)

Huge flat in amazing location!

Our family of 4 stayed here and could not be happier! It was so spacious, clean and bright. Just a block off the main drag of Covent Garden, it was not loud at night. We loved only having to walk 2 minutes to the tube and the beginning and end of our long touring days. Especially if it was raining! Being so close to Leicester Square tube also made this location super convenient as we would walk there in 5 minutes to get on a different line if necessary. Having a washer and dryer allowed us to pack a bit lighter and I didn't even mind doing laundry since I was in London!! A M&S Food Hall was minutes away so we could stock up with food for breakfasts and snacks. We did not have any trouble with the wifi (as others have noted). Everyone in our family loved it.
