Villa Alcalde is a luxury 6 bedroom / 7 bathroom, holiday villa. It is situated in a peaceful setting near to the area of Puerto Del Carmen, Puerto Calero and Tiaz as well as the small village of Macher, Lanzarote.

This villa’s landscaped grounds include a Cesar Manrique inspired sunken swimming pool. This heated outdoor pool is one of the finest and largest residential pools in Lanzarote. There is a raised hot-tub, games area, huge stone fire-pit/bbq and 2nd kitchen outdoors.

The villa layout incorporates 6 spacious bedrooms & 7 bathrooms.

3 bedrooms are super king size, 2 are king size and 2 are twin beds. Sleeping 14 as standard. There is also a snug room that adapts to being an extra bedroom (with own bathroom). This 8th bedroom takes the maximum capacity to 16 guests.

5 bedrooms are at ground level – 4 in the main house ground floor and 1 is an out-building next to the main house. The outbuilding can easily adapt to multi-uses. It benefits from wonderful natural light and a view of the gardens. Thus creating the perfect chill-out area for yoga, meditation and all relaxation activities. 1 bedroom is on the upper floor as is the separate snug room that can convert to the 8th bedroom.

Every bedroom interior is created with attention to space and quality of finish. We have ensured the height of luxury and comfort throughout.

The main internal living area is on the first floor. Designed to be open plan and adapt to different uses. Everything you need is here to make every occasion a special one. Formal dinner parties, informal drinks, lazy sofa evenings, the living space has it all.

Glass doors open out onto a beautiful terraces along the entire length of the house on 2 sides.

The terraces are a wonderful extension of the living space with breathtaking views. They create areas where all guests can dine under the stars.

This open plan living area has a natural flow, from the large lounge area, to dining room and into a modern kitchen. The architects and interior designers have embraced the best concepts for social living.

The modern open planned kitchen with its clean white lines is designed to be elegant. Also practical in that it flows into the main dining area, it is an extension of the social environment. The kitchen includes everything needed when catering for family and friends.

There is also an outdoor kitchen close to the fire-pit /BBQ area making outside catering very easy. It also means cool drinks are never far away from the outdoor hot-tub and pool areas!
The landscaped external garden area is vast. It comprises the large sunken pool area and separate raised hot tub deck to take in the awesome views of the region. There is also a sunbathing deck, fire pit /BBQ and outdoor kitchen.

The heated outdoor swimming pool is one of the largest residential pools on the island.

There is a games areas including an outside pool table. Also lots of areas to escape for relaxing alone time!
Macher is approximately 14km west of the capital Arrecife and 4km north of the main, Puerto del Carmen, tourist hub. It is a 10 – 15 minute drive from the airport.

All Lanzarote’s attractions are within easy reach from Macher. Yet when you are here you will feel like you are in a different world, far away from congested tourist hubs. This is the original Lanzarote, unspoiled by any major commercial development, a true representation of the rich Canarian tradition and local culture.

Villa Alcalde is in a very quiet cul-de-sac.

A good supermarket is located less than 500m away.

Within a 5 minute walk from Villa Alcalde is a restaurant considered by locals as the finest on the island.

This is a traditional town, a base to explore the surrounding, undiscovered areas of Lanzarote, secure in the knowledge that the bright lights and modern delights are just a few minutes away by car if needed!

From the airport a taxi will cost approximately €10 – €15.
