Los Belones is a thriving village with numerous restaurants and bars, a lovely village square and a good variety of shops including the British Super Market (great variety of British foods at reasonable prices). The clean, safe beaches of the Mar Menor (the small sea) and the Mediteranean are a 5 minute drive away as is the fossilized beach at Calblanque national park (fantastic for walking and bird-watching). The Mar Menor (the largest saltwater lagoon in Europe) has no tide and, as such, is very safe for children. La Manga Strip alone boasts more than twenty miles of beaches.
Secluded Mediteranean coves, accessible only on foot, are within walking distance of the property.
La Manga Golf and Country club is 5 minutes drive and offers five-star dining as well as it´s world famous golf, tennis and football facilities
The bungalow has one double bedroom, a second small bedroom, large lounge (with double king-size sofa bed), a bathroom with bath, and a kitchen-diner.
The outside areas comprise a pool area, a large garden area and a tennis court. The pool area has a private (not overlooked) swimming pool, a shower room (with toilet), a patio area and a small lawn. The main garden has a large lawn, mature fruit trees and full colourful borders, as well as a large patio for dining. The gardens cover an area of 250m2. The full size tennis court is enclosed and bordered by patio.
The property is walled and gated (with intercom), has a private drive and parking for two cars.
Cartagena (a city pre-dating London by a thousand years) has many historical sites - including a Roman amphi-theatre, a Roman street and walls that pre-date the Punic wars. It also has great walks, fine restaurants and fantastic shopping. It is only fifteen minutes away and hosts the famous Roman fiestas in September.
