About this property

The house of memories: a dive into nature and the past

Unusual stone farmhouse of 200 square meters, located in one of the most striking slopes of the Monti Pisani in the immediate vicinity of Buti, Monte Serra and Verruca. The place surrounded by nature and surrounded by rich vegetation allows a stay in total relaxation and privacy. The property is bordered on the sides by two streams of clear water and a tropical sea-colored pool offers a place of coolness and refreshment.
The orchard, the vineyard and the olive grove surround and belong to the property.
The furniture is welcoming and personal. The name of the house refers to the fact that every little detail, every piece of furniture, every little ornament is part of the history of the farmhouse and of the family that, with passion, has restructured it. The result is a magical sensation, because here the stories of places and people merge into an indissoluble and nostalgic whole. The 'old house is on two floors and consists of
living area on the ground floor and bedroom on the first floor.
In the description of the house the detail is specified. Large terrace partly covered on which overlooks the lemon grove used as a living and relaxation area. Within the property there is an outbuilding used occasionally by the owners.
The farmhouse is easily reachable by being just a few kilometers from the FI-PI-LI highways and the Firenze mare sea that quickly connect the villa to the art cities of Pisa, Florence and Lucca, as well as to the maritime destinations, such as the spectacular coastal Livorno / Castiglioncello and Versilia.
The airport of Pisa is very close, as is the port of Livorno

The House of Memories
Beautiful, peaceful location and amazing house and pool. Local village is traditional with a vibrant community and great restaurants and bars. The fitness levels improved as a steep but picturesque walk back to the house. Plumbing system is lively! Ana was very helpful and quick to answer any questions. Fabulous holiday.

Lovely Authentic Tuscan Farmhouse
We enjoyed our stay very much - it was, as described, a traditional Tuscan farmhouse full of Italian character. The pool was the highlight - amazing! Large and so clean surrounded by the olive grove and pine trees. We also liked Buti, very traditional with few tourists and we were welcomed in all shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. The only downside (assuming you're looking for character rather than a 'spotless' villa) is the 400m lane - make sure your hire car is the right choice, small & 'high' but with a powerful enough engine for hills - and no nervous drivers!

Beautiful villa and genuine Italian feeling
We stayed 8 people at the villa for 2 weeks and we had a lovely time. Anna is a gracious host, who was very attentive to our needs. There’s 3 bedrooms and a landing with two single beds, which suited or two youngest boys. There is a fine kitchen with room for several people making food, and it comes with all kitchen bits you will need. Then there are 4 living rooms, so if you need alone time - no problem! The out door areas are the real charm!!! The loggia and terrace on the east side of the house is big and has lovely furniture for both dining and relaxing. This is also where the huge stone fireplace bbq is placed. The beautiful pool is placed up the hill on the west side of the villa. Here you’ll find a loggia with a dining table and chairs, sun loungers and easy chairs. The pool is fantastic, 7x13 meters and more than 2 meters deep in one end. The cleaning system keeps it super at all times without stinking from chlorine. Such an amazing area with more great views of the valley and mountains. It must be mentioned that Buti is a genuine Italian village with hardly any tourists. There is several great restaurants, bars, ice creams and other little shops. It is 800 meters down the hill to the piazza on a dirt track. We can highly recommend staying at this wonderful and authentic place.

Italy
it was a lovely house with a lot of atmosphere. the park was fantastic with olive trees and nice flowers. nice big pool. The access road to the house is under all criticism. with big holes in the road. it requires that you drive in a tall car. We were not aware of the nature of the road.
